Available in a wide range o plastic and metallic materials,

this isolated and media resistant design has an excellent

reputation or versatility and reliability in both aseptic and

in industrial applications where corrosive, pure or abrasive

media are controlled.

The diaphragm is the key perormance component within a

modular architecture and is relied on to provide leak-tightshuto to the downstream side o the weir, to atmosphere

and to the actuator mechanism.

Standard and customized diaphragm materials are oered

or requirements o temperature, chemical resistance or

specic USP certications.

We continuously develop our understanding o all aspects

o polymer and rubber technology, diaphragm design and

The simplest and non-automated operation o valves plays an important role in all plants and machin-

ery. Brkert oers a wide range o manually operated valves and the operators are constructed to

oer reliability and long lie. Handwheels and levers must operate a wide variety o valves sizes rom

DN 8 to DN 150 and our program has evolved to be able to oer a wide range o materials and

options. We concentrate on using materials which oer long term stability in demanding environments

like PPS and stainless steel. Many o the manual solutions must oer the ability to be locked, stroke

adjustment, digital or dial position indication and electrical eedback switches.

Brkerts electrical actuators provide torques to suit many applications rom 20 to 100 Nm. The ac-

tuators oer ast rotation times with all standard AC and DC voltages and using rugged electrical

connections. Connection to many types o quarter turn valves is made through the ISO fange xa-

tion rom F03 to F07 with a emale star drive adaptor. The actuators deliver both On/O and ana-

logue control through signal inputs and outputs o 0/4 - 20 mA and 0 - 10 VDC.

Brkert oers a maintenance ree actuator with a more compact and efcient design. Helical

actuator principle turn linear air pressure orce into torque to drive quarter turn valves. Smart, low

riction, actuator design uses less air than other actuators and provides ast response times.

Materials such as PA or PPS are available combined with metal inserts or the pneumatic connec-

tion in brass or stainless steel, to provide increased chemical resistance and allow the use in high

ambient temperatures.

Visual indication is a standard eature. The rotary actuator can interace with all pilot valves, eed-

back switches or positioners.

Actuator specifcally designed or our unique multiway multiport valves. Compact, smart and

This actuator has been installed around the world in actories and in machines or an extremely

The actuator is designed to use less energy through the use o clever volume llers which do not

impede the stroke and lasts longer because o the act that each actuator part is molded in house

Process variables such as temperature, pressure, fow rate or level are crucial to process engineering

sequences.

The actual process value is detected by means o a suitable sensor in the pipe and compared to the

process set-point.

Depending on the magnitude and operational sign o control deviation, the process controller com-

putes the position set-point or the position control loop. The process variable is then changed by

opening or closing the valve. Continuous measurement o the actual process value and comparing

it with the process set-point minimizes the control dierence between the two values.
