Scripps Multimedia Fellowships

Extra help for newsroom and online leaders• 2-3 (Decided based on budget) FTE’s per property• Primarily MMJ’s, Content Editors and Online Producers;

other skill sets have been identified based on needs assessment

Limited duration• Most positions will be funded by the Newspaper Division for

up to six months, coinciding with the time editors and site managers are being asked to work on project teams. Five mid-career positions will be funded for up to 12 months

Shared recruiting and onboarding• Recruiting of entry-level positions will be centralized.

Properties will be responsible for recruitment of mid-career (Content Editor) positions. Editors and site managers will make final decisions on all hires through the program
