Dear Doyle Elementary School Supporter,
Thank you for your interest in becoming a sponsor for our Annual Spring
Fundraisers, the Doyle Jog-a-thon and the Doyle Spring Dance and Auction. We are
the Doyle Elementary School PTA (Parent Teacher Association). San Diego Unified
School District faced $124 million in budgets cuts for 2017-2018 school year and our
elementary school personally lost $66,000 for this school year, as wells as our Vice
Principal, Librarian, Aids, and instructional supplies, including paper and classroom
essentials. We are heartbroken to hear we will be facing additional drastic budget cuts
and staff eliminations again for the 2018-2019 school year. By hosting these
fundraisers and the silent auction this spring we are raising funds to provide the
necessary items for every child at our school. In addition to the budget cuts we need
to supplement student leaning opportunities, books for the classrooms, new
technology for the school, educational field trips, essential classroom learning
supplies, and more.
I would like the opportunity to showcase your business to the 800
students of our school, as well as their family and friends. We have several
sponsorship levels. We accept private, individual, business, and corporate donations
of cash, check, credit, and debit, as well as goods and services. Our PTA is a non-
profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and your
donation is 100% fully tax deductible. Our U.S. Tax ID number is 33-0499990.
Your donation item such as tickets, gift cards, gift certificates, and
monitorial amounts will be featured at our events and on display for all students and
families to see. If you are able to donate for our school, please email
[email protected] for us to pick up the donation and the estimated retail
value. 100% of every dollar raised stays at our school to help our students.

This year’s gala will be a memorable evening for Doyle families to put in their fanciest clothes and come as a whole family to dance
the night away. There will be a DJ dance party, food trucks to purchase dinner, and an auction supporting our library and school. Tickets go on sale for $10 per person or $35 for a family of 4 people
before and after school April 30th-May 4th and at our website at www.doylepta.org as well as at the door of the event.
Our spring dance is on of our last OPTA events of the year, but one of our most meaningful and an event not to miss!
