Here are a few tips for building the best Twitter forthe needs of your business.
1. Write an optimized bio.
Your 160-character bio on your Twitter is the place where you can tell people a little about yourself and your company, so this is the place to really
let yourself shine. Don't forget to include a link to your website!
2. Find the "experts" in your field.
After you've built your profile to be best reflective of your company, it's time to start interacting. Look for the people of
authority in your particular field and begin following them and checking on
how they interact and behave with others. Look at the people following these leaders and follow some of them as well.
3. Tweet often.
If you're going to use Twitter for a week or two and then tweet out one every few months moving forward, investing time
in this platform would be a waste. Twitter is a platform of high engagement, so
tweeting out often and consistently is important for gaining and retaining
attention from followers.
4. Develop your authority.
It's great to use Twitter to share things about your business, but if that's all
you're doing, it's likely not going to get you very far. Take a page from the books of those experts and thought leaders and start curating relevant content on top of
marketing for your business.
