Why should I complete the Boots Pharmacy Placement in 2017?• To gain a real insight into community pharmacy at Boots UK

• To have the opportunity to put into practice the knowledge and skills learnt at university with real patients

• To meet new people and learn new skills

• To better understand your future career prospects and opportunities at Boots UK

• You will receive a specifically designed student workbook and eLearning modules to help support and guide you through your time in-store with us

Choosing your Boots Pharmacy placement 2017 location

• You will be asked to choose three location preferences

– Think carefully about the choices you make – there are more opportunities available in certain locations around the UK

• It is important to be both realistic and flexible in the choices you make

– We will use location choices to place you in a suitable store for your Boots Pharmacy placement

– Please put your location choices in order of preference – you will always be considered against your choices in that order

– The third location choice will be in one of our priority locations where there are more opportunities available. If you are flexible please select an ‘Anywhere in…’ option.

Boots Pharmacy Placement 2017 Start dates• For maximum flexibility we have even more start dates available – A total of

6 dates throughout summer period between June and September 2017. All start dates will fall on a Monday and end on a Friday

• You will be asked at application which dates you are available for – The more dates you are available for the better chance you have at securing a store within your chosen location

• Please only select that you are available if you can commit to the full two weeks

boots.jobs/early-careers/pharmacy-placement to apply. Applications open on Monday 6 February 2017 at 9:00am, and will close on Friday 24 February at 16:30pm

Things to remember..• Everybody needs to make an application to

be considered for BPP 2017, including current Boots colleagues and if you have completed a placement with Boots UK previously. You do not need to complete a BPP placement to be considered for a Pre-reg place

• Please try to be flexible in your choice of location, but realistic – you must be prepared to travel there over the two-week placement period

• When you receive the link for the online assessment you must complete it in order for your application to be fully submitted

• Search for Boots Pharmacy placement on Facebook and follow our page for any updates.
