Biogen Interactives: Information on a two way street

Overview

Biogen Idec is a global leader in discovery, development, manufacturing, and commercialization of innovative therapies. At the AAN 2009 show, Biogen wanted to showcase their Clinical Trials and Pathways information in a way that would attract and engage attendees, yet remain within their budget.

Objectives

• Create two non-linear interactive presentations, one for Pathways and one for Clinical Trials.

• Electronically capture the attendee’s interaction with the presentations using GES Smartleads Technology. This created a two way street flow of information.

• Incorporate multi-format videos, text and graphics into each interactive.

• Be able to easily add to and reformat the two presentations for upcoming shows.

Solutions

• Preliminary schematic diagrams were used to storyboard the two pieces.

• Client supplied videos were reformatted to a specific resolution and format.

• The interfaces were built, animated and programmed.

• GES Smartleads Technology was used to capture the attendee’s journey through the interactive presentations providing measureable feedback that was presented to the client.

Results

• Biogen showcased their Pathways and Clinical Trials information in an easy to use compelling way.

• Biogen was able to measure the attendee’s journey with the Smartleads technology.

• By designing the presentations to be easily reformatted GES kept update costs to a minimum.
