The market is huge and there is no centralised marketplace that would allow a comparison of price and quality of the products. While antibody-online started to gather suppliers to resolve the chicken-egg problem of getting suppliers and customers on e-commerce platforms, we will use the strategy which made e-bay the biggest e-marketplace.

We start with a small, niche market: Drosophila fruit fly exchange. Accessing transgenic flies is nowadays ineffective, a problem which is recognised by the community. Allowing P2P transaction, we will allow fast and automated fly sharing (we sell contact information, but do not deal with flies directly).

Our first move into this market was the production of a stock management software, where scientist can access their stock list online, while keeping it safe and secret. Our goal is to gather enough users to make fly sharing possible, getting a supply of about 25 000 fly lines.
