1. The B.A./B.Sc. (Gencral & Hons.) shall bc a 3 ycar integratcd degree course with effect from the admissions of 1988 under 10+2+3 system of cducation
B.A. (Gencral)
2.1. The B.A. (Gencral) programming of study shall consist of 24 credits, cach credit having a value of 100 marks. All the theory papers and practicals, irrespective of their credit value, shall be studicd throughout the academic ycar

) ELECTIVE SUBJECTS
Any three elective subjects including languages and vocational course,
when introduced-200 marks each.
Provided that a student would offer any Science subject, including Mathematics
only if he has passed that subject in the qualifying examination or qualifñes in
the subject as a deficient/additional subject from the concemed Board/University/
Council in the supplementary examination subsequent to the admission.
Provided further that a student can ofler:
Statistics only if he takes up Mathematics. (a) (b) Applied Statistics only if he takes up other subject(s), excluding
Mathematics.
2.3. 2nd year and 3rd year.
The subjecis shall be the same as in the Ist year.

Total 20 credits A B.Sc. student must have out of the three elective subjects ofered by him (excepting Geology, Geography and Anthropology) passed at least 2 science subjects in the qualifying examination. He may offer th� third elective subject from the Faculty of Science or Faculty of Arts.

A candidate offering Statistics along with Mathematics and the Computer Science or Computer Applications shall be awarded B.Sc. Degree. Provided that a student -
