What is Robo�cs?Robo�cs is an interdisciplinary branch of engineering and science & Robo�cs deals with the design, construc�on, opera�on, and use of robots, as well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback, and informa�on processing. These technologies are used to develop machines that can subs�tute for humans and replicate human ac�ons.Today's students are future Engineers and Scien�sts. They can create something be�er if they get opportunity to learn good things at school level.
The objec�ve of this project is to foster curiosity, crea�vity and imagina�on in young minds; and inculcate skills such as design mindset, computa�onal thinking, adap�ve learning, physical compu�ng etc..Robo�cs & research lab is a work space where young minds can give shape to their ideas through hands on do-it-yourself mode; and learn innova�on skills. Young children will get a chance to work with tools and equipment to understand the concepts of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Robo�cs & research lab would contain educa�onal and learning 'do it yourself' kits and equipment on - science, electronics, robo�cs, open source microcontroller boards, sensors and computers.In order to foster inven�veness among students, Robo�cs & research lab can conduct different ac�vi�es ranging from regional and na�onal level compe��ons, exhibi�ons, workshops on problem solving, designing and fabrica�on of products, lecture series etc. at periodic intervals.

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), commonly known as a drone, is an aircraft without a human
pilot aboard. UAVs are a component of an unmanned aircraft system (UAS); which include a
UAV, a ground-based controller, and a system of communications between the two. The flight of
UAVs may operate with various degrees of autonomy: either under remote control by a human
operator or autonomously by onboard computers.[1]
Compared to manned aircraft, UAVs were originally used for missions too "dull, dirty or
dangerous"[2]
for humans. While they originated mostly in military applications, their use is rapidly
expanding to commercial, scientific, recreational, agricultural, and other applications,[3]
such as
policing, peacekeeping,[4]
and surveillance, product deliveries, aerial photography, agriculture,
smuggling,[5]
and drone racing. Civilian UAVs now vastly outnumber military UAVs, with estimates of over a million sold by 2015, so they can be seen as an early commercial application of
autonomous things, to be followed by the autonomous car and home robots.
3-D PRINTER TECHNOLOGY
3D printing is any of various processes in which material is joined or solidified under computer
control to create a three-dimensional object,[1]
with material being added together (such as liquid
molecules or powder grains being fused together). 3D printing is used in both rapid prototyping
and additive manufacturing (AM). Objects can be of almost any shape or geometry and typically
are produced using digital model data from a 3D model or another electronic data source such as an
Additive Manufacturing File (AMF) file (usually in sequential layers). There are many different
technologies, like stereolithography (STL) or fused deposit modeling (FDM). Thus, unlike material
removed from a stock in the conventional machining process, 3D printing or AM builds a three-
dimensional object from computer-aided design (CAD) model or AMF file, usually by
successively adding material layer by layer.[2]
The term "3D printing" originally referred to a process that deposits a binder material onto a
powder bed with inkjet printer heads layer by layer. More recently, the term is being used in
popular vernacular to encompass a wider variety of additive manufacturing techniques. United
States and global technical standards use the official term additive manufacturing for this broader
sense.
