Day 1: Toronto - Warsaw (July 2)

Flight to Poland. Day 2: Warsaw, Gdansk

(July 3) Arrival in Warsaw. Stroll in Łazienki Park (Chopin Statue, Belweder Palace, Old Oran-gery, Amphitheater, & Palace on the Water). Royal Route to Old Town (Sejm building, Nicolaus Copernicus Monu-ment, Warsaw University, Presidential Palace Royal Castle, Zygmunt’s Column, St. John’s Cathedral, Barbi-can, city walls, and statue of the Little Insurgent. Piłsudski Square (Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, watch changing of guard), Saxon Gardens. Palace of Culture & Science, Golden Terrace Mall. Flight to Gdansk and accommodation, after ar-rival.

Day 3: Gdańsk (July 4)Transfer to Westerplatte and the Military Transit Depot, which heroic defense marked the beginning of the Second World War. Next, a water tram will take us from Westerplatte to Gdansk Old Town - stroll down the most representative streets of the city. We will ad-mire along the way: Golden Gate, Main Town Hall, the Neptune Fountain, and many

others. A variety of nearby charming gift stores offer souvenirs and products of lo-cal amber craftsmen. Night in Gdansk. Day 4: Gdansk, Gdynia, Hel

(July 5)A continuation of our visit in Gdansk and a trip to Gdynia. We’ll see historical Gdansk Shipyard, the modern center of Gdynia, and the Pomeran-ian Quay which offers a great view of a famous Polish de-stroyer, ORP Błyskawica, as well as of Dar Pomorza – an accomplished Polish sailing frigate. Cruise to the Hel pen-insula and relax on the shores of the Baltic Sea. Night in Gdansk.

Day 5: Gdansk (July 6)A chance to take part in a Sun-day mass in one of the oldest churches in Gdansk, followed by free time in the afternoon. Night in Gdansk.

Day 6: Słowiński National Park (July 7)

A ride to Słowiński National Park, which is one of the most beautiful Polish national parks, famous for its enormous sand dunes. We will hike Łącka Góra, the highest dune hill in the area, and then walk along the seashore to an old missile launcher. Visit to Kluki herit-

age park and climb up an ob-servation tower that offers a scenic panorama of Łebsko Lake and moving sand dunes. Night in Ustka, right by the Baltic shores.

Day 7: Baltic Sea (July 8)A day to enjoy beautiful sur-roundings and relax by the Baltic sea. Night in Ustka.

Day 8: Kołobrzeg, Świnoujście (July 9)

Transfer to Kołobrzeg, trendy tourist resort by the Baltic Sea. Time off to enjoy the city, followed by a scenic drive through Międzyzdroje on Wolin island to the Port of Świnoujście, where we em-bark on a ferry to Sweden. Accommodation in cabins and night on the Baltic Sea.

Day 9: Malmö (Sweden), Copenhagen (Denmark)

(July 10)Off from ferry, we take a bus ride straight to Malmo, which is the cultural and economic center of southern Sweden. We will see gothic St. Peter’s Cath-edral, Malmö Castle, Malmo Town Hall and a synagogue. We will also visit the world-renowned Malmö Academy of Music. Next, we will head towards Denmark through the Sound strait (Øresund). On the other side of Øresund, the

capital of the Danish Kingdom awaits. In Copenhagen every-thing is accessible within a walking distance – the sea, the Little Mermaid statue, Tivoli Gardens, Princess Mar-grethe’s Amalienborg resi-dence, Rosenborg Castle, the Strøget promenade, and the picturesque Nyhavn harbor and waterfront. We will visit Copenhagen City Hall, situ-ated on the City Hall Square, and Christiansborg Slot Palace on the islet of Slotsholmen, which is home to the Danish Parliament and the Danish Prime Minister’s Office. A transfer to Brema in Germany for a night.

Day 10: Brema,Amsterdam (July 11)

Visit in Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, which belongs to Germany on its own special terms. We will see the gothic Town Hall, Bremen Market Square, the statue of Roland, the protagonist of the famous “Song of Roland”, Roman St. Peter’s Cathedral, an Evan-gelical church devoted to St. Mary the Virgin, and probably the most well-known German monument commemorating music making called the Town Musicians of Bremen (Bremer Stadtmusikanten). cians include a donkey, a dog, a cat, and a rooster. Transfer to Amsterdam and time to enjoy the city. Visit in the Rembrandt Hoeve, a traditional farm pro-ducing delicious cheeses (tast-ing included). A cruise down the scenic canals, and a few moments with Dutch Master Painters in the Rijksmuseum (State Museum). Visit in a dia-mond polishing shop. A stroll along the lively streets of the old city. Night in Amsterdam.

Day 11: Brussels (July 12)Transfer to Brussels, the cap-ital of the Belgian Kingdom and the European Union. The city of beer and chocolate, Brussels has also a district dedicated to the UE institu-tions, including the European Parliament and the European Commission. We’ll see: Roy-al Palace, Brussels Palace of Justice, a triumphal arch, the city’s main cathedral, and the Grand Place, which is con-sidered the most beautiful market square in Europe, with its Town Hall, King’s House, and Baroque guild shops. We will also introduce ourselves to Manneken Pis, the funniest landmark of Brussels and visit to EXPO, which includes the world famous Mini Europe Park. Night in Brussels.

Day 12: Paris (July 13)In the morning, we will leave Belgium for France. Our ad-venture starts in Paris and Bo-hemian Montmartre neighbor-hood. We’ll see: Basilica of the Sacré Cœur, Place du Ter-tre, Place Pigalle, and Moulin Rouge cabaret. Next, we will head back towards the city center to explore the Medi-eval and very well preserved Latin Quarter, and La Cite island with the famous Notre Dame Cathedral. In the even-ing scenic ride around the city. A chance to marvel at the Av-enue des Champs-Élysées, the Élysée Palace (the residence of the President of France), Place de la Concorde, Place Vendome, the Paris Opera, and the Trocadéro. Evening unforgettable scenic cruise on the Seine. Late evening accommodation in one of the

hotels near Paris. Day 13: Paris (July 14)

Bastille Day. We’ll see: Louvre, Centre Pomidou and Père Lachaise Cemetery, the largest and best-known cem-etery in Paris. Many famous musicians found their final rest here: Edith Piaf, Frederic Chopin, Jim Morrison. Next, we will head towards the Eiffel Tower (most splendid views in Europe). Return to the hotel.

Day 14: Paris (July 15)Visit to the Paris Opera and Place Vandome, where the most luxurious, world-class hotels, like Hilton or Ritz, boast their fancy facades. A ride to “the capital of cham-pagne”, Reims, and a visit in the UNESCO-approved Notre Dame Cathedral de Reims, where coronation of French monarchs used to take place. A ride to Metz by Luxemburg to stay for the night.

Day 15: luxemburg, Trier (July 16)

Visit in Grand Duchy of Lux-emburg. The financial center of Europe Luxemburg has both the ultramodern European dis-trict and the old historical cen-ter, recognized by UNESCO. We will see historical strong-holds of Luxemburg Citadel, Notre Dame Cathedral, Town Hall, the Luxemburg Palace, and charming, narrow and steep streets offering stunning views of nearby hills. Transfer to Trier, which claims the title of the oldest city in Germany. We will see a Roman city gate called the Porta Nigra, a Roman bridge, caesarian hot tubs, Basilica of Constantine which served as the emperor’s throne room and remains the best preserved building of this kind in the world, St. Peter’s Cathedral, and surrounding hills, covered with vineyards. Walk down the streets of Trier. Transfer to Maastricht for the night. Day 16: Maastricht, Aachen,

Cologne (July 17)Visit in Aachen, where recent archeological excavations dis-covered the traces of ancient, Celtic influences on Germanic settlements in this area. Close

to the cathedral, we will see a Renaissance town hall, and a labyrinth of narrow streets and alleys remembering medi-eval times. A drive to Cologne where we will not miss Co-logne Cathedral, which size can astound absolutely every-body. Night in Cologne.

Day 17: leipzig, Potsdam (July 18)

Our first stop is in the center of Lepizig, the hometown of Ri-chard Wagner, Johann Sebas-tian Bach, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Friedrich Schiller, Till Lindermann. We will visit St. Thomas church, where Bach served as a cantor during 1723-50. There is also a little museum dedicated to Bach ad-jacent to the church. A drive to Potsdam for the night.

Day 18: Potsdam, Berlin, Poznan (July 19)

A visit in Sanssouci, a pal-ace with one of the largest park areas in Europe. Drive to Schloss Cecilienhof, an-other palace where in 1945, Potsdam Conference officially ended the Second World War. This is where the story that we started in Westerplatte ends. A drive to Berlin and city tour: Berlin Cathedral, Alexander-platz with a television tower, Charlottenburg Palace, the Brandenburg Gate (symbol of Berlin), the Berlin Wall Me-morial, and the Reichstag – the German Parliament. Stroll down the Unter Den Linden boulevard to the Museum Is-land with the Pergamon Mu-seum. A drive to Poznan for overnight stay.

Day 19: Poznan, Gniezno, Biskupin, Torun (July 20)

A walk around beautiful Poz-nan’s Old Market Square. Visit the Museum of Musical Instruments. There’s no other

museum like this in Poland and only two larger ones around the world. A drive to Gniezno, the first capital of Poland. A visit to the cathedral, and a moment with the history about the formation of Polish national identity. Next, we will move to Biskupin to enjoy the famous reconstructed pre-Slavic settlement. Finally, we will head towards Torun. Evening walk around the old town. Overnight in Torun.

Day 20: Torun, Warsaw (July 21)

We will spend the day learn-ing about Torun’s cultural heritage starting with a visit to the great astronomer’s, Nico-laus Copernicus, house, and a trip to Planetarium for an in-formative session. In unique Museum of Gingerbread we will get a chance to take our shot in gingerbread making in a reconstructed 14th century bakery. Transfer to Żelazowa Wola, Frederic Chopin’s home town near Warsaw. Night in Warsaw.

Day 21: Warsaw (July 22) A day off to enjoy the capital of Poland.

Day 22: Warsaw -Toronto (July 23)

A direct flight from Warsaw to Toronto.
