There was not any radio adverts that were advertising regional magazines because if a regional magazine is advertised it is normally online or in newspapers and other magazines.

Due to not being able to find a radio adverts for regional magazines I looked into a typical radio advert. The things I found was…

• They normally last between 15-30 seconds.

• They nearly always have someone talking over explain the product.

• There likely to have a slogan they use.

• They sometimes use a song or tune In the background.

• They have an interesting first sentence to grab your attention so they listen to the rest of the advert.

• They seem to repeat the products name more than once.

Target audience

The target audience of my radio advert would be the same as my magazine and the billboard because you want to attract the same people with all 3 so they are more likely to buy it.

So my target audience will be younger, working class females.

The age im going to aim for is around 17-30.

The things im going to mention in my radio advert would be…

• The name of the magazine, so people know what its called

• Where you can get it from

• Some things it features e.g. fashion, entertainment, films so I attract the right sort of target audience.

• How much it will cost. (it will properly be free as most regional magazines are)

• I will use a slogan that is easy to remember.

• I will use a interesting first sentence to grab peoples attention.

• I aim for my advert to be between 15-30seconds so it is look enough to give all the information but not too long so people don’t get bored.
