Message from Rev. Lea
Wow! Vacation Bible School was fantastic! We welcomed
57 children (20 listed no church affiliation) to our church as
we explored the Workshop of Wonders! 57....that's 22 more
than we had last year! A huge thank you to Tiffany Rogers
and all the other adults that made this impactful event
possible. At VBS, we talked about what it means to "Gear
up!" for God. The children have led us well in their active
participation in VBS...now it's up to us to find ways of our
own to "Gear up for God!"
This Sunday, June 29 we have an Ice Cream Social at 4 pm,
please make plans to join us in a time of fellowship and
celebration. We hope to see each of you there....and bring a
friend or two!
Please note that I now have regular office hours and am
available other times by appointment. My hours are:
Monday 10-1, Tuesday 11-3, Wednesday for evening
programming, Thursday 11-3. I'm excited about what this
new year will bring and ask you to join in praying for our
church both universal and local. We have been challenged
to be a missional church, it's a new day, and I am convinced
that events like Vacation Bible School are the key.
Remember, join us for the Ice Cream Social....Sunday @
4pm!
Blessings,
Rev. Lea Griffith

2014
Yay! I have a new best friend. Melanie is so much fun! She
gives me lots of treats...and sometimes sneaks me food
off her plate (but don't tell my momma and Brian!). I have
a big yard at my new house where I can run and play - I've
only gotten to go out a few times though.....something
about the gate not being secure yet. (I guess they haven't
forgotten about that time I got out!)
