Library Avengers is a think tank set up by the Reading & Writing Foundation. This advocacy league will come up with ideas to raise awareness for the essential function of libraries for their local communities and for their wants and needs in Brussels and within the European Parliament.
Transforming perceptions of European policymakers – strategies and tactics to break the deadlock of ignorance and misunderstanding of the role of public libraries.
Opportunities for exciting collaborative projects – pan-European funded library gigs that will stimulate and innovate.
Reflection and debate on the role of public libraries and what will make them better in the future.
