About IAPA
What are the criteria for membership?
IAPA’s internal regulations require all member firms to comply with internationally accepted standards and guidelines. All member firms must be under the control/ownership of members of internationally recognised accountancy bodies and comply with the professional standards of such bodies. Applicant firms must complete a detailed application form giving information about their structure and personnel, client base, range of services provided, and ability to service international clients.
Requirements
MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA
We like to recruit members who are able to provide a full range of accountancy services (including audit) and other business advisory services. We also ask the following from our members.
• To have at least one fluent English speaker, preferably partner level
• To participate in our annual regional and/or international conferences at least every 2 years
•Willingness to share ideas, information and referrals and to respond to inquiries from other IAPA members within 48 hours
• To adhere to ongoing quality control procedures to ensure high professional standards are met
• Prior to becoming a member, to undergo a detailed on-site inspection and application review, carried out by an IAPA representative
