Gladioli - The flower of “Meeting”. The gladiolus, also known as Palm or Santa-Rita-Palma, is a bul-bous plant originally from Africa.
The Gladiolus flowers bright and silky mean “Meeting” . It is said that once, when a woman received gladioli, knew that the number of flowers represented the time of the encounter with the chosen of her heart.
The Gladiolus is a herbaceous plant belonging to the family of Iridáceas, genus Gladi-olus, to erect their height is between 50-180cm, endowed with sword-shaped leaves. Characterized mainly by its flowers, white, red, pink, salmon or lilac, and may be bicoloured or show stains and spots on the lower petals. It’s a cut flower very common among ornamental plants, used to decorate the most diverse environments, on special occasions, such as holidays. The gladiolus bulbs are divided by average perimeter size: bulbs “10-12” and “12-14” have respec-tively 10cm to 12cm and 12 cm to 14 cm in circumference. The big bulbs are found in sizes 14-16 and 16-18, these values also correspond to measured perimeter. Light: Tolerates partial shade.

Treatment Methods
Purpose of Lighting: To establish image and enhance product color, sparkle or texture.
Use of lower illumination levels for ambient lighting to enhance contrast. DLUX down-light Gyp is a slim, continuous line of light in the ceiling plane
Utilise daylight temperatures in receding fixtures indirect ambient lighting behind drop ceiling as to mimic skylight. (CLS Slim Flexible Cathode Light Strip - ceiling recessed)
Use the best color rendering lamps on diffuse downlights and a warmer color tem-perature of 3200K. (Artemide LED Net - pendant)
