Ageless Lifestyles Institute, Chopra Center for Well-being,

Young Body Mind, etc. Doctors: There are over 18, 500

anti-aging physicians .

Be able to Live Longer or Stop the Aging Process, because

aging is a disease.

To help reduce Signs of Aging.

Remedies that Anti-Aging Industry Recommends Medicine, including

Pharmaceuticals, Plastic Surgery, Cosmeceuticals/Skin

Care Treatments, Hormone Therapies, Nutricosmetics, and

Tissue Engineering.

Genes and Genetics

Nutrition, including Vitamins and Minerals

Supplements and Diets.

Exercise/Lifestyle, including where you Live, your Stress Management, relationships, where you work, Sanitation, Sleep, Nutraceuticals, and

Hygiene.

It’s a cross between pharmaceutical and cosmetics. They are cosmetics marketed as a drug.

Remedies Most scientists believe that aging can not be stopped permanently, but that people can age slower, or gracefully.

Some Scientists believe that cosmeceuticals falsely claim to reverse or slow down the aging process, but others agree with the anti-aging industry.

Active Ingredients in CosmeceuticalsCommon Active Ingredients are Retinol, Vitamin C , Vitamin E, Alpha Hydroxy Acid, Glycolic Acid, Idebenone, N6 Furfuryladenine, Petrolatum, Mineral oil, Lanolin, Silicone, Copper Peptides, Pal-KTTKS, Green Tree Extract, and TNS.

Too Much of A Good ThingToo much Alpha Hydroxy Acid, Glycolic Acid,

My Thoughts Currently, we cannot stop the aging process, but we can age gracefully.

The Food and Drug Administration should regulate the cosmeceuticals, and make sure there is pre-market approval and safety/efficacy testing to prevent any unsafe products in the marketplace. FDA does not review or approve cosmetics, or their ingredients, before they are sold to the public, but it does review drugs.
