• Having difficulty to integrate UX / UCD into each organization.

• Cannot evaluate the necessity of each function because it’s decided beforehand.

• AgileUX? Nice idea!!

More than 30% of the participants are developer who is interested in studying UCD.

Get out of the office! Learn and see how users use your product.

We definitely need to implement usability test in our company as well!

Need more communication between designers and developers!

By introducing UX / UCD methodology from the earlier stage of the project, team will be….

Able to eliminate function-driven and subjective thoughts.

Able to maintain user’s point-of-view. Able to make prioritization of function and content

clear for improving UX. Able to define suitable and consistent requirement.

Allows full commitment of team members. Persona & Scenario became our common language. Prioritization was clear. (Categorizing main & sub functions) Was able to improve usability continuously. Schedule has shorten compared to ordinary development. (Approx. 20-25%)

Agile Development 3.1 3.7

Clearly, Agile is considerably better than the old Waterfall method. Good riddance to that one. However, the professionals in our new study still felt that Iterative Design was marginally better than Agile; there's still work to be done to make Agile projects more user-driven. In better news, the latest data provides some evidence that we're moving beyond "them and us" — overall, developers were more bullish than UX people on a couple of key UX opinion metrics.
