DESCRIPTION

New entrants to the fitness industry, should at all costs, avoid the six gym design trends illustrated in this presentation. This short PowerPoint presentation classifies the gym design trends which hold the fitness industry in a death spiral of better sameness. Employing internet screen captures and short succinct commentary, the author outlines the repetitive and cliched aesthetics which define each trend. The purpose of the presentation is twofold. First, provide the fitness industry with its first benchmark of club design in an effort to spur a dialogue for new gym models. Second, increase the ability for new players in the arena to reject the trends in favor of unique gym models which reinforce their own brand.
