English: Writing

Write a different ending to your favourite book or movie. If it was sad you can change it and if you think the ending wasn’t good enough then change it slightly.

Also complete the word search below

Please complete the sentences below for rug ( grabbed/caught) D’fhéach ( Saw) and Ghlaoigh (Called/shouted) in the Aimsir Chaite (past tense)

For question 2 you must convert the fractions into decimals and you can watch these videos to help you.

Always remember to add in a decimal point and 3 zeros when you are dividing.

On question 4 they are mixed numbers for example part (b) is 1 3/10 converts to 1.3

On question 5 make them all decimals and then compare them.

History: The First World War

Read about the First World War and answer the questions. Also write a short entry in Sarah-Anne’s diary when she meets her father for the first time after the war.
