A. ABOUT AIESEC IIAIESEC
is an international, independent, not-for-profit, non- political
organization, aiming at developing leadership potential in
young generation. From 1948 until now, AIESEC presents in
120+ countries/territories, works with 8,000 companies worldwide and empowers 86,000 members around the world.
In an era of globalization AIESEC’s programs have
helped young people around the world to develop a
broader understanding of cultural, socio-economic
and business management issue.

A. ABOUT AIESEC
AIESEC Vietnam
AIESEC in Vietnam was founded in
2006. At the moment, we have 600+
proactive members from 7 branches in
Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.
AIESEC in UELFounded in 2014, AIESEC in UEL is a
new branch of AIESEC in university of
economics and law and this is a first
time we has organized UNLOCK project
for the youth. So we hope that we can
successfully launch our new project

A. UNLOCK PROJECT
Project overview
The project ‘Unlock’ is an initiative taken by
OE AIESEC in UEL, aims to improve soft skills
(communication, team work and leadership)
and inspire the youth to volunteer work and
set social impacts, finding hidden talent in
them, open their mind, motivate them to have
more confidence in life which can bring a
change in themselves and socialization,
striving students towards innovation and
combining things with moral values.

A. UNLOCK PROJECT
Missions
Activating leadership is one of the important values of AIESEC. We believe that leadership is
not only leading others but also understanding and orientating ourselves. With the vision to
develop the young generation of Vietnam to become Global Citizens, our project aim to:
Provide a chance for
students to develop
their essential soft skills
(communication,
presentation, pitching,
etc).
Create a multicultural
environment to
immerge students in,
hence, they will beware
and form a Global
mindset.
A. UNLOCK PROJECT
Activities overview
Unlock Project involves students especially in UEL. The whole project lasts for 9
classes with 5 days of indoor classes and 4 other days of outdoor activities (as
described in Project Model above). There are various activities in this camp as
follow:
Skill-training sessions which will deliver
the knowledge and offer many new
perspectives on soft skills to students.
Simulation activities which require
students to apply the theory that they
have just absorbed in innovative and
unconventional ways.
Mini project: students will be divided into
groups and together work on a mission
with the assistance of interns, learning
partners and Organizing Committee.
Outdoor activities are held to bring
students and interns closer together,
thus create a cozy and cheerful
atmosphere.
Week 1
- Welcome interns to Viet Nam
- Introducing and visiting around UEL
- Orientation day for project details
- Conducting the weekly talk sessions
on various soft skills that affect the
attendees
- Welcome party
- Marketing and Pr for the course (take
photo, standing booth, supporting for
promotion)
Expectation
- Have a look at UEL and UEL’s students
- Build at least 90% whole project (sessions,
timetable, indoor&outdoor activities in the
first week of the course,…)
- Prepare for Week 2 (first week of the
course)
- Supporting for mar-com efficiently.
Week 2
Prepare presentation and activities for
the first week classes of course about:
- Time management and work
arrangement skills, body language, tips
about doing team work efficiently
- Have a completed project details for
the day training.
- Make friends and know something
about participants (attendees and
interns)
- Collect the good feedback from
attendees
Expectation- Attendees and interns have know more
about each others
- Complete detail plan project efficiently
- Fix content based on feedback
- All of attendees are interested

Week 3
- Prepare presentation and activities for the
third week classes of course about:
“How to persuade someone and sell
yourself (pitching skill) and how to control
your emotions in communication”
- Practicing with attendee about many
skills in many class ago ( 2-3 class before
organizing the main class)
- Interns and attendees will make some
handmade stuffs together to sell for
fundraising in week 5
Expectation- More interested in learning course
- Have experiences in persuading and
pitching skills

attendees
- Planning and prepare stuffs for the
voluntary week

Week 4
- Team Building (interns as leaders, and
attendees devided into different teams)
- Outdoor fundraising around Sai Gon (some
famous scenaries in Sai Gon as Ben Thanh
Market, Bui Vien, parks, museums,…)
- Selling handmade stuffs for fundraising
- Collect money from the fundraising and
prepare gifts for the voluntary day.
- Come to pagoda/orphanage
house/hospital to give gifts to children.
Expectation- A wonderful experience of voluntary jobs
- Have more memories
- Practice skills in real situations.
- End course with great feedback

Week 6
C. INTERN'S WORKING EXPERIENCE
1. Intern's job description
Before class
• All EPs are obliged to work with Content Manager (OC Content) to create activities,
sessions related to essential soft skills, culture diversity, self-development and creativity
inputs for content of the classes.
• Regular meet-ups for discussions are held at least once a week.
• Make promotion materials including self-introduction clip, countries presentations before
your arrival to Vietnam (if needed). Together with OC Content and OC Promotion, interns
will conduct workshops, attend special events.
C. INTERN'S WORKING EXPERIENCE
1. Intern's job description
During class
• Each EP is supposed to facilitate a group of 3-4 attendants. A majority of sessions will be
chaired by EPs with the supervision of OC Content.
• EPs are encouraged to share about your countries and bring your cultural perspectives in
every session. Ongoing interactions between EPs and students are also what the project
strives for.

D. AMAZING VIETNAM
Being part of the Organizing Committee “ UNLOCK PROJECT ”, you as interns have a great
chance to join weekly field trip and food tours inside and outside of HCM to explore and
understand about Vietnamese culture and people. The internship is, for sure, among the
most memorable experience in your life
1. Old quarter
Inside a modern and dynamic city,
there appears an antique quarter,
the Hanoi's Old Quarter – the
represented eternal soul of the city.
2. One pillar pagoda
In the heart of the capital city of
Hanoi the One Pillar Pagoda was built
in 1049 to resemble one seen in
Emperor Ly Thai Tong’s dream, this
dream like Buddhist temple appears
to float above a lotus pond. It is built
of wood and stands on a small single
pillar, the temple is designed to look
like a lotus blossom and has ornate
beautifully painted carvings.

3. Vietnam Museum of Ethnology.Listed among top 25 Asia Attractive
by TripAdvisor, Vietnam Museum
of Ethnology is both a research
centre and a public museum
exhibiting the ethnic groups of
Vietnam, worthy your visiting to
understand about long-lasting
tradition and culture of Vietnam.

4. Duong Lam ancient village
The first ancient village recognized as
a national relic by the Ministry of
Culture and Information. This is also
the great chance explore architecture
of ancient houses while wander along
its narrow alleyways, visit temples
dedicated to the two kings born there,
and most interesting of all, chat with
locals living in the ancient houses.
5. Bat Trang ceramic village
Bat Trang is an ancient village, which
is very famous for making ceramic
products. There is a ceramic market in
the village, where we can buy ceramic
tile painting, flower vases, tea pots and
cups, bowls, plates, spoons, even
ceramic dogs. You can also try making
one product yourself.

cuisine, most of the

Vietnamese Baguette, once

common food in Vietnam.
Not only common, but it is
also so delicious, with sour,
spicy, sweet and salty
mixed into one
serve.

Thin rice wrapping, shrimp

the delicious sugar or
