Advisement vs. Registration
• At CSI, advisement and registration are two separate processes.– Advisement entails meeting with an advisor to
discuss the progress you have been making towards completing your degree requirements.
– Registration occurs when you actually select the courses you will enroll in for the upcoming semester.
Take Advantage of Early AdvisementStudents are strongly encouraged to take
advantage of the Early Advisement Period.
March is Early Advising Month for Fall registration! Registration begins in April.
Contact your assigned advisor for educational
and career planning discussions.
October is Early Advising Month for Spring registration! Registration begins in November.
Remember, the early bird always catches the worm!
