We come from very different places. I grew up in Mumbai, which is a very big city with lots of people, but my husband is from a small town. I went to university in the UK for three years, and that’s where we met. We both got jobs in London, so we moved down there. We got married after four years – in Mumbai! It was wonderful. All my family were there, of course, and some of my husband’s family came too. A year later, we had a baby in London – a daughter. Her name is Meera.

    Sabeena (India)

    I was born in India, but my husband was born in the UK. We come from very different places. I grew up in Mumbai, which is a very big city with lots of people, but my husband is from a small town.
