Nigeria: A Third World Country.

QThe Big question is when is this Country going to be truly developed? When is it going to be classified among first world Nation?

Ruled by the British, the Nation was declared free from the United Kingdom in 1960.

White Racist have been saying this, from the first time they came in contact with Blacks that they cannot maintain High Level Civilization.

Electricity is still not cheap and widely available twenty four hours, seven days and three hundred and sixty five years in the year.

The Roads are a sorry sight, apart from Abuja; most networks of Roads in Nigeria are full of potholes.

When is this country going to be leaders in the production of Cars, Ships and Electronics supplying other African Nations if not the whole world?

Presently, virtually most electronics in use at Home and Industry is imported. In the heath sector all the high level Technology is imported, be it Ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, Dialysis etc, despite a gamut of Universities and polytechnics.

The Institutions, the Universities and the educational system cannot even attract Wealthy Nigerians to talk of attracting foreign students. Most of the foreign students that decide to come have packed their load due to unnecessary protracted strikes that drive down the quality of education.

The Universities are so devoid of real Innovation that there are virtually no original ideas coming out of it. No wonder they are not the envy of the world, if the educational system in Nigeria were to be suddenly collapsed and closed down, the only people that will feel the loss are Nigerian. The same cannot be said of similar Institution in the United States, Most of European Country and Asia.

The foreign embassies of most White Country in Nigeria usually attract so many Nigerian who want to travel out to their land for tourist and Business Purpose. When is Nigeria going to experience the same pressure of Foreigners dying at our embassy abroad to be given the chance of visiting this country called Nigeria?

India has become a country known for its Medical Tourism; this was not so in some years back, now it attracts patients from all over the world with its high quality service in the Health Sector. Our Hospitals at their best are still a glorified clinic.

Our Elites prefer to die in Hospital abroad than to fund Hospital at Home to world class standard.

It is not a problem of Resources, Nations like Japan, Israel, South Korea and Singapore with no, or virtually poor natural resources are Giants, with first world Economy.

United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia with only Petroleum resources are ahead of Nigeria.

Why is the most populous Black Nation on Earth still a third world Country despite gamut of Resources?

I am waiting for the right Diagnosis.
