a darkside wedding

We got married. We celebrated our union almost two months later with friends and family. Our honeymoon was short and blurry. But in order to make it a story:
We got hitched on May 1st in a small government chapel in East LA, witnessed by Tatiana’s brother Royal and Peter’s long time friend James.
We had decided early to not have a regular wedding because we do not like to do things the way they are supposed to be or how they are expected to be done. So a warehouse party with live mu-sic and DJ together with our friends and family sounded like a great idea.
During the planning, we realized that at some point we would for-get forget, and lose, the events of the evening as the memories of the night would creep away, so we needed another way to remem-ber the evening. We wanted to be able to see the night through your eyes, so we decided to leave it up to you and our photo booth photographer Dante to document what and how you saw the night. And as we always feel nostalgic to old film cameras, five dispos-able cameras were placed around the warehouse for you to use throughout the night.
After having developed the pictures, we decided to put it all togeth-er in an electronic book (we’re clearly very 2015) so you can enjoy the moments again, or maybe even just to see the night through the eyes of someone else. So this little WWbook is a selection of the pictures you took with these cameras, the photobooth pictures, the pictures you shared on Instagram under the #adarksidewedding hashtag, some from Peter’s camera (since he can never leave it at home), and some from our Polaroid camera.
The enjoyment and excitement of seeing all who came to celebrate our union was above what we could have expected, and we thank you all from the very bottom of our hearts for being there to cele-brate with us.
With Love,
Tatiana & Peter

So that’s it. A little self-importance
mixed with a lot of gratitude.
We love you all.
