Math: 30 minutes1) 10-5 Day 2: Adding 10s and 1s using models – Assigned on Seesaw.

Today, you will be learning more about adding 10s and 1s using models and applying that strategy when completing word problems. This information is detailed in image A, below. Remember 10s are modeled with lines and 1s are modeled with dots. Then, in your Fundations Journal complete #11, #12, & #14 from image B below, by finding the important information in the problem, modeling the math with 10s and 1s, and completing the equations. Looking for a challenge… complete # 13 and discuss with a family or write about how you solved the problem. Use image C, below, to complete the Exit Ticket. Model each number with 10s and 1.
