POINTS FOR PROPER DISPLAY OF EXHIBIT

Following are a few suggestive points for proper display of exhibits in JNNSMEE – 2015.

1. All exhibits should be neat and clean and in working order 2. A banner of size 100 cm × 50 cm – a sample of which is attached, shall be provided to all participants

by the Organisers for display on the wall (or kanat) behind the exhibit at about 6 feet height. 3. Use white chart paper (half/quarter sheet) to explain the exhibit, circuit or any other diagram. This

may be displayed on the demonstration table. Use black ink for writing on the chart paper. 4. The commentary for explaining the details of exhibit should not be extraordinarily long. Exercise

economy in oral words. One may use non-verbal communication material for this. In order to avoid repeating the commentary often, an audio CD may also be played. A copy of brief write- up of the exhibit may also be provided to the visitors.

5. Use graphics such as graphs, bar diagrams, illustrations, posters etc., to convey detailed information of the exhibit. A copy of each may be kept in file for reference.

6. Display the project report on quarter size paper sheets kept in a folder, if the exhibit is based on project work. Display photocopies of reference material, if any, related to the project. It is advisable to bring a few extra chart papers, pen, pencil, eraser, cello tape, double sided- tape etc. for last minute writing that you may need to do at the exhibition ground.
