Get the most capacity out of your forage harvester or baler with a new windrow merger from New Holland. By combining windrows, you reduce labor, fuel and wheel traffi c for a lower cost per ton. And, a merger handles the job with less leaf loss and adds less soil and stones compared to raking.

SMOOTH CROP CONVEYANCEThe fl oating pickup with replaceable, three-prong teeth delivers crop to the 42-inch-wide, ribbed conveyor. Pickup and conveyor speed adjust simultaneously for smooth crop fl ow. The tall back conveyor panel assures that all of the crop gets merged into the windrow. An anti-wrap system on the conveyor bearings prevents crop from wrapping and damaging bearing seals.

MERGE RIGHT; INVERT LEFTAll New Holland mergers are designed to merge crop to the right. To invert crop using the optional inverter chute, simply switch the location of the two quick-disconnect hoses to change the direction of the conveyor belt.

This results in a crop mat that is thinner and fl ows more smoothly and evenly through the conditioning system for more uniform conditioning and faster drydown. Crop converges more smoothly from the cutterbar to the conditioning system, reducing crop feeding issues, particularly in thick grasses, cane and other high-volume crops.

REPLACEMENT KNIVES TO MATCH FIELD CONDITIONSThe Discbine 313/316 can be equipped with a choice of six diff erent cutterbar knives, depending on crop conditions and soil types. All knives feature two cutting edges, are available from the parts department, and can be fl ipped for double the cutting life.
