Cows are more contented... better quality, production.
We like Udder Comfort for our fresh cows. We make sure all the fresh cows get their udders sprayed at least the fi rst 1 to 2 days after calving (after each milking). Some fresh cows we do longer, reports Lorenzo Cabral, manager of Brouwer Dairy, Portales, New Mexico.
Lorenzo has been manager for the past 10 years. They milk 2,560 cows 3x with a bulk tank average production of 83 pounds/cow/day and somatic cell counts consistently below 100,000.
For a long time, SCC was 120,000, he explains. We got that average down to 97,000. Udder Comfort is part of our fresh cow routine for 4 years now.
We like how it softens the udders. Cows are more contented, and they do better in milk quality and production.
We have always used Udder Comfort. It is the best udder product and we like how it works.
