A Message fromOfficer Dani Stein

A MESSAGE FROM OUR SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICERHello Aprende Families,Now that the 2016-2017 school year is about to start, I would like to take this opportunity to

introduce myself as the School Resource Officer at Aprende Middle School. My name is Officer Dani Stein and I have been a police officer for 5 ½ years. As some of you may know, I started as the SRO at Aprende in March 2016, so I may have already met some of you. I started my career with the Killeen (TX) Police Department, where I was assigned to patrol. After 2 ½ years with KPD, I transferred to the Chandler Police Department to be closer to my family. During my career and even before I became a police officer, I have always had a passion and interest in helping kids. Before I became a police officer, I was a collegiate athlete where I competed in gymnastics and coached gymnastics to younger kids. I have always and continue to strive to be a role model to younger kids and do what I can to help them achieve their goals.

As a School Resource Officer, my first and foremost goal is to provide a safe learning environment to Aprende Middle School and interact with the students so they can build a positive attitude toward law enforcement. I also investigate crimes, conduct law related education so the students can have a better understanding of the value of our legal system, help students develop respect for people and property, teach students how to reduce the likelihood of becoming a victim of a crime, act as a positive role model to the students and serve as a resource for the students, staff and parents of Aprende. I am available to each of you, so please feel free to contact me.
