Initiative Overview

Background
A drive to raise funds had been on Team Sopaan’s mind for a while now
Bhaskar Jindal who is a close friend for a few years came up with the idea of driving from Delhi to Mumbai and we jumped with joy at the opportunity
We quickly drew a high level map, attached some values to the overall plan and thus 1ka100 was conceptualized
1 ka 100 essential means that we drive for 1km for every 100 rupees we get
We aim to target a larger audience via this drive as we feel sensitization is more important than money, and that’s why individual contributions have been kept as low as Rs. 100. It could be considered as just a token of appreciation for Bhaskar and Sopaan’s effort to raise awareness
Intent
Drive from New Delhi to Mumbai covering a total distance of 1500 kms
Drive through New Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
Raise awareness about child rights and education by distributing handouts on the way, displaying banners on the vehicle, using social media promote the drive
Raise at least Rs. 1,50,000 via donations and sponsorships from this drive.
Donate at least 90% of the raised amount to a partner NGO after due diligence
Fund Raising Methodology
Rs. 100 supports 1km of the drive.
A min of Rs. 100 or in multiples there on required from a donor.
