B- Professional Information

1- Develop wide background in knowledge

related to the different branches of chemistry, to

serve as preparation for graduate work in

chemistry.

2- Utilize chemistry facts and theories to

analyze and interpret practical data.

3- Provide students with a knowledge and

skills base from which they can proceed (if so

desired) to further studies in specialized areas of

chemistry or multidisciplinary areas involving

chemistry and participate effectively in research

activities.

4- Deal with scientific data in English.

5- Develop knowledge and experience of

practical skills and advanced laboratory

techniques. So that they can understand and assess

risks and work safely in the laboratory.

14- Demonstrate a broad education in

fundamental aspects in different branches of

chemistry, to serve as preparation for graduate

work in chemistry.

1- Overall aims of course

2- Intended learning outcomes of course (ILOs)

a1. Identify integrated knowledge and comprehension of the theories,

facts, concepts, fundamentals and techniques related to the fields of

physical chemistry.

a2. Characterize the chemical nature and properties of the functional
