Розробка уроку у 6-му класі за темою «My favourite dish.” The Present Continuous.

Мета: Активізувати вивчені лексичні одиниці, структури, граматичний матеріал в усному та писемному мовленні; розвивати навички непідготовленого мовлення з використанням особистого досвіду та знань;слухову пам`ять, увагу, логічне мислення учнів,здатність до здогадки, вміння працювати в парах та групах; стимулювати комунікативну-пізнавальну діяльність учнів , бажання спілкуватися англійською мовою, виховувати інтерес до культури та традицій України та країни, мова якої вивчається.

Тип уроку: удосконалення знань,умінь,навичок.

Обладнання: тематичні малюнки, роздавальні картки, граматична таблиця.

Хід уроку.

І.Організація класу.Підготовка до сприйняття іноземного мовлення.

Good morning, children. I`m very glad to see you today. How are you ? ( P1,P2,…)I`m in a good mood too. So we are ready to start our lesson.We shall speak about food, one of the most essential part of our life.Food gives us energy and health, helps you to grow. So, the topic of our lesson is“ My favourite dish”. Let`s pronounce all together. And we`ll take the motto to our lesson: “Eat the rightFood”.

A) Let`s play a game “ some or a / an “. Please name the food you see. B ) Answer my questions : 1. What food you like best of all ? (I like oranges best of all ) 2. What do you usually eat for breakfast ? (bread and butter and a glass of tea ) 3. What do you never eat for dinner , ( I never eat sandwich. ) 4. What do you never drink for supper? ( I never drink coffee.) 5. What food you like best of all? (I like oranges best of all.) 6. What is healthy food ( It is food without chemicals. It is fresh and has a lot of vitamins ) 7. What English рeople usually have for breakfast? ( cereal, bacon, eggs ,toast , butter , marmalade ) 8. What is your favourite dish ? 9. What would you like to eat , 10. Do you bring your packed lunch to school? What do you put there ,

I V . Oсновна частина уроку .

I see you like different kinds of food. But : Eat the right food. Remember the proverb « Good health is above wealth.”

1) Group work . Split into four groups . Reclame your dish and give the recipes.

2) Повторення граматичного матеріалу. Oh, we`ve got a telegramme . Dear friends! I`m going to have a holiday dinner at noon. My chef is making his favourite dessert now/ We are waiting for you . Come and enjoy our meal . Your Mr. Present Continuous. Let`s visit his house. We use Pr. Continuous Tense for something that is happening at the time of speaking. The time expressions : now , at the time . Let me introduce a chef and his friends//. He has three nice caps. Look! He is going to his friends now. (I-am, YOU-are …) This is his cousin- Verb ( I ) and his helper –Ing . Example : He is making his favourite dessert now . You see six serving men . They help us to get a lot of information. A poem : I have six honest serving men They taught me all I knew. Their names are What and Why and When, And How and Where and Who.

Let`s help them to ask questions to the sentence . 3) Writing : Take your copy-books.Write down the date and the topic of the lesson . 4) Exercises for eyes .

5 ) Speaking : Every country has its traditional dish . There are some of them in Ukraine . What are they? ( Varenyky , holubtsi ,borshch , deryny )

Let`s prepare all the ingredients. Comment your actions

.( Use The verbs in the Present Continuous Tense . ) ( peel , slice , chop , pour , wash , fry , add , put , cut .) I`m peeling potato at the moment .

6) Reading :

Reading is a very interesting and usefull thing. Do you like to read? What was your home task for today? A ) Pre-reading activity: Pay attention to the words : B) Reading of the text . C ) After reading task . -Gr. A)- React to the statements, saying whether they are true or false. 1) The Earl of Sandwich was an Englishman. 2) He was fond of playing football. 3) His brother usually brought him some slices of meat and bread . 4) He invented a new dish – varenyky.

-Gr. B )- Make up a dialogue or retell the text using a plan . 1) What was this story about ? 2) What country did it take place ? 3 ) Was it long ago ? 4) How did it happen that the Earl of Sandwich invented the new dish ?. 5) Was it a sad or a funny story ? Gr . C ) Make up a collective story using the pictures . … will you go to the blackboard . You have some minutes .
