yun di - gsa president candidate

Dear lovely postgraduate students of University of York. My name is Yun Di and I am a master student from Management Department, running for your new President of the GSA. I remember when I first arrived in UK, I was completely terrified and it was the GSA picked me up and helped me settle in. I am always grateful for their kind help and glad to be a member of this group to service for next year’s postgraduates. This full-time president is a good chance for me to complete the wish and challenge myself. Because I have worked as CCV officer in GSA more than half year and joined in the discussion of reform in GSA, so I am familiar with the new structure and operation of GSA. I think it’s really important that as many ideas and suggestions are heard as possible, and to create a nice open atmosphere so that anyone feels they can come and say what they’re thinking whenever and wherever. If I were elected, I am confident that I will be a responsible leader. I would be pleasure to listening postgraduates’ ideas and develop these ideas as many as possible, organizing council meeting each month. Besides this, giving some career information and lectures relating to career techniques and objectives regularly is one of the services for Postgraduate students. Please vote for me, Thanks a lot!
