    9:30am -10:30pm

Ecovillage Design Patterns Location: Classroom What are the building blocks of a healthy community, one that regenerates the natural landscape, encourages positive human interaction, and meets our primordial need for beautiful functioning spaces? This is an introduction to ecovillage design, drawing on pattern language, permaculture, and landscape architecture principles, taught by Cynthia Tina.

10:30pm -12pm Organic Growing at La Cité Location: Begins in Classroom Master gardener and tree crop specialist, Denis Fortin, will share the basics of organic growing as it applies to La Cité. This session will take place outside, in the ecovillage’s expansive agricultural fields that provide produce for community residents and market sale to the surrounding area. Teaching will be in French with English translation.

12 - 1pm Lunch Location: Main Dinning Hall

1:30 - 3:30pm Expand Your Box… What Box? Location: Classroom Drawing from the work of Possibility Management, this is your crash course in new ways of listening, speaking, feeling, experiencing and interacting. We know that the standard behavior patterns we have adopted from modern culture severely limit the quality of our relationships and creativity. It’s time to upgrade those thoughtmaps!

4 - 5:30pm The Art of Conflict Reconciliation Location: Classroom Seasoned communitarians know that conflict is not something to shy away from, but is in fact a healthy part of community, if we know how to properly deal with it. Learn and practice tools in the art of conflict reconciliation with experienced guides. This workshop is a must for anyone working with (more or less) organized groups of humans!

6 - 7pm Dinner (Celebrating the last night of the Summit) Location: Main Dinning Hall

7:30 - 9pm Wiser Together: An Intergenerational Dialogue (La Cité Residents are welcome to join!) This is a rare opportunity for youngers and elders to speak freely and deeply listen to each other in a well-held space. The purpose is to nurture communication and collaboration across generations to address the critical issues of our time. All ages are welcome to participate.
