F ounded in 2006, the Living History Education program brings TimeLine’s mission to Chicago public Schools, working with students on creative

exercises related to historically inspired stories on TimeLine’s stage and elsewhere in literature. During arts integration residencies of six to 13 sessions, students explore connections between history, art and their own lives, developing critical thinking and communication skills. Since its inception, more than 3,500 students have actively explored history through Living History. TimeLine currently partners with eight schools to present the program.

Major supporters of Living History include The Crown Family, Lloyd A. Fry Foundation, Robert and Eleanor Meyers, Polk Bros. Foundation, The Seabury Foundation and John Sirek and Colleen Loughlin.

TimeLine has an ongoing commitment to developing the work of established as well as emerging playwrights. The Playwrights Collective, under the leadership of Benjamin Thiem, offers a

supportive environment over multiple years for a group of Chicago-based playwrights to develop new plays that are inspired by history and explore the social and political events of today.

your roleWith only about 45% of TimeLine Theatre’s total income coming from ticket sales, donations are vital to ensuring the continued success of the organization. Without the generosity of our dedicated community of supporters, we would not exist.

TimeLine considers every subscription purchased and every donation made to be an invest-ment in our work, and we are committed to helping all our supporters understand the full impact of their contributions. All non-profit organizations are products of and for the communities they serve. Without the support of our dedicated community we would not exist.

We hope you’ll consider being a part of our dynamic and expanding organization by making a tax-deductible donation. At TimeLine, we pledge to do all we can to make sure that every dollar we receive is invested wisely—a philosophy that has resulted in 17 seasons operating in the black.

We focus on what makes TimeLine unique—our mission to produce plays inspired by history that spark conversation with you, our audience, about the times we live in. We want TimeLine to be a place that encourages thought, emotion and discourse, and that can only happen with your involvement.

In grateful appreciation of our donors’ generous support, TimeLine is delighted to invite our supporters behind-the-scenes for exclusive events and opportunities to connect with artists, Company Members and staff. Learn about the benefits of being a TimeLine donor online at timelinetheatre.com/donate.

On the following pages we are pleased to recognize the many generous individuals and organizations who have chosen to play an active role in supporting TimeLine through their contributions. Thank you!
