Professor of Sociology on December 7, 2018. The

Honors
Christie Sennott was invited to join the edito-rial board for the journal Gender & Socie-ty for a 3 year term.
Lindsay Hamm was awarded a $75,000 In-structional Innovation proposal grant. The project title is "Increasing Undergraduates Students' Engagement in Large Lecture Courses through Automated Grading."
Jean Beaman was awarded a CLA Exploratory Research in the Social Sciences grant in the amount of $36,589 for her project, “State of Emergency: Black Lives and State Violence in France.”
Robert Perrucci received news that his book, The New Class Society: Goodbye American Dream, will be translated and published into Chinese.
The Winter Recognition Event was held December 6, 2018 at
the Lafayette Brewing Company. We celebrated the past
year and enjoyed food and had a good time.
