Thank you for purchasing WP Keyword Boss. Now it’s time to get WP Keyword Boss working and helping you

dominate the search engines. Before getting into the instructions of how to use the plugin, we want to assure you that we stand behind all of our products. So whenever

INTRODUCTION AND OVERVIEW

As you’ve probably already seen from the sales page, WP Keyword

Boss does keyword research on steroids and at a blazing fast speed.

WP Keyword Boss comes with a simple settings page which will help us configure different parameters that are used during the keyword

research. The main functionality of the plugin can be seen in the keyword research tab.

We divided this manual into different sections in which we will discuss

functionality step-by-step.

WP Keyword Boss Installation

When you initially download WP Keyword Boss, it comes as a .zip file. Once you login to your Wordpress site, you should be seeing your dashboard page as shown below. (Or something just like it)

On the left side of your dashboard, there is a link for Plugins as highlighted in the below screenshot. Click on that link.

Now you should be seeing a page similar to the one shown below. On the top of the page where you can see the title of the page

“Plugins”, you should see a button “Add New” next to it as highlighted in the below screenshot. Click on that button.

Now you should be seeing another page with its heading as “Install Plugins”. Below that you will have a link “Upload” like shown in the

screenshot below. Click on that link.

Now click on the Browse button as shown below.

Browse to the location where you have downloaded WP Keyword

Boss in .zip format and select it and click “Install now” as shown

below.

Now you will see the below screen. Click on the “Activate” link as shown below.

Now if you can see the below screen, then you have successfully installed WP Keyword Boss and activated it on your Wordpress blog.

You should be seeing WP Keyword Boss Button on the left hand side of your screen once the plugin is installed.

WP Keyword Boss Settings

After Installing WP Keyword Boss, first thing you need to do is

customize the settings to your need.

Click on the WP Keyword Boss button to open the WP Keyword Boss

Settings Panel which looks as shown below.

This settings panel is the place where we will be customizing everything related to our plugin like the search engine to search for,

Number Of Backlinks After Which The Field Is Marked Down As Red etc.

We will see all of these settings one by one now.

1. Default Search Engine: This is the default search engine which is

used for scraping trends and also to find the top 10 ranking results

during the competition analysis step. Configure this to the search engine on which you want to rank your website.

2. Maximum Page Rank before Marking It As Red: This is the maximum value after which the field will be marked as red during

the competitor analysis phase. 3. Moz.com Credentials: In WP Keyword Boss, we will use

Moz.com’s Linkscape API to find the number of backlinks, Page Authority and Domain Authority of Our Competitors. You can use

either a free account or a paid account for this.

4. Maximum Value Settings: All the settings from here on are self-

explanatory and are used during the competition analysis phase like the 2nd setting.

5. Amazon Category For Fetching Results: This is the default amazon category which is used for fetching best sellers, hot new

releases and movers and shakers.

Once you configure all the settings as per your requirement, you are all set to do the keyword research.

WP Keyword Boss Keyword Research

In WP Keyword Boss, Keyword Research will be done in 2 simple and

easy steps.

1. Finding Keywords. 2. Analyzing Competition.

Finding Keywords

This is the first phase where you will find hot trending keywords as well as google suggestions for your niche keywords.

When you click open the Keyword research tab, you will see a screen

which looks like this.

This consists of two different types of keyword searches.

1. Searching using a root keyword: In this mode, you need to enter

a keyword and press the “Generate Keyword Suggestions” button to fetch all the suggestions from google for your keyword in just

the wink of an eye.

2. Find Hot Trending Keywords: In this mode, WP Keyword Boss will fetch hot trending keywords from 7 different sources based on

the settings configured in the settings page.

Once you find good keywords, all you got to do is simply click on the

checkbox that appears against the keywords and they will be copied into the review box which appears to the left of your screen.

Once you copied a good number of keywords into the list, click on the Save the Keywords Button And Analyse competition link to go to

the competition analyzer step.

Analyze Competition

This is the second step where we will analyze the top 10 results in

google for different factors categorized into On-page SEO, Off-page SEO and Social SEO.

Once you are in this page, click on the Analyze Button against the

keyword you want to analyze competition for and click on the “Analyze Competition” button.

WP Keyword Boss will analyze the top 10 results for this keyword in the search engine of your choice and will display all the results in a

beautiful table as shown below.

Using this table, we can decide if the competition for a keyword is high or low.

The columns which are shown in this table are.

1. Page Title: Title of the page which is analyzed.

2. URL: URL of the page which is analyzed. 3. Title: Check if the title of the page is optimized for the keyword

or not. 4. H1 : Check if the page has got any instances of the keyword in

the H1 tag. 5. H2 : Check if the page has got any instances of the keyword in

the H2 tag. 6. H3 : Check if the page has got any instances of the keyword in

the H3 tag.

7. PR: Page rank of the page. 8. Links : Number of backlinks to this page.

9. PA : Page Authority

10. DA : Domain Authority

11. Shares: Number of facebook shares this page has got. 12. Likes: Number of facebook likes this page has got.

13. Tweets: Number of tweets this page has got. 14. G+: Number of plus ones this page has got.

Also each and every field will be color coded from the parameters

configured in your settings panel in such a way that it will indicate if it is more than the value configured in the settings panel or not.

If you want to search for another keyword in the same page, you can add another keyword to the text box and click the analyze competition

button. Once the research is done, results will be shown below the tables which are already present. This is a very useful way to do

competition research as you can simultaneously do keyword research for more than one keyword at a time.

Once you are satisfied that you found a good keyword, click on the

“Add to review list” button and this will be added to your wordpress create your post dashboard.

If you want to use these keywords in your title or in your content, click on the corresponding buttons and they will be added to your title and

content right away.
