Pump ControllerWide Operating RangeThe self-contained fully integrated Spyder Pump Controller offers users a simplified, extremely flexibleautomatic centralized lubrication system to satisfy most mobile and stationary applications.

The built-in timer functions are easy to adjust:

Lubrication cycles are controlled by two inde-pendent rotary dials (pump run and dwelltimes) There is a choice of 16 numbered set-tings on each switch (see table):

Electrical connection jumpers are supplied withthe controller to select “Unit Time Settings” for“Pause and Pump Time Ranges” (see table):

Manual CycleThere is a magnet attached to the side of the pump bracket. The magnet may be manually removedand used externally to operate (without removal of the pump top cover) the pump for priming or trialruns.

Place the magnet on top of the pump housing (left of center) for 2 or 3 seconds – the pump operates asthe timer is set. If the user places the magnet on the position continuously, the pump operates until themagnet is removed from its position. DO NOT RUN LUBRICATOR FOR EXTENDED TIME PERIODS.

Note: Should the front cover be removed, there is a switch for manual operation.

Output Elements The easy way to deliver exact amounts oflubricant to critical Lube Points.

The Spyder automatic lubrication system offers users a flexiblechoice of Pump Output Elements which are cam actuated bythe lubecore pump. Each output element discharges fixedPositive Displacement Volumeretic outputs through individualfeed lines to friction points in mobile and stationaryapplications. The lubecore Spyder pump handles up to26 lubrication points.

Each grease output element is color coded by dischargevolume. There are seven distinct output elements offeredwith discharges ranging from 0.01 to 0.12 cubic centimeters perstroke.

The pump elements can be assembled into any of the outletports of the Spyder pump housing. The choice arrangementof each element may be selected to adapt to maximize tubingarrangements for individual applications. Block all unused pump

base outlet ports with proper closure plugs. Be sure to follow proper lubecore assembly instructions.

System Kit — What Is IncludedSystem Installations

• The Spyder Multiline pump is extremely “user-friendly in design, applicationand system installation.

• Pump and Timer Kit:- Pump with integrated timer, harness, bracket, mounting hardware,

hydraulic ¼ quick disconnect fill nipple, nipple cover

• Tie wraps and Spiral Wrap Kit:- Small kit – used for kits with 1 to 20 points- Medium Kit – used for kits with 21 to 26 points

• Output Elements:- Elements will be included in quantities of 5 per size

starting with Red (0.02 cc/storke), and increasing to thenext size in quantities of 5 for the remaining points

• Secondary Lines and Fittings:- All tube fittings in the Spyder pump manifold will be

5mm straight compression fittings.- All secondary tube fittings to be compression type.

Tube fittings will be divided 30% straight and 70% elbow.- Secondary fitting adapters to be included for 25% of

secondary fittings and will be equally divided between¼-28 cube connector (Part # 20.001) and ¼-28 straightadapter (Part #20.006).

- Secondary lining to be purchased in bulk rolls of 100ft.Secondary lining is available in 5mm nylon single,double and triple casings. Recommendedpurchase quantity of 15 ft of single line per point.
