COMMUNITY SCHOOLG-Force Mini’sPreK3- Kindergarten Monday 3:40 - 4:25 p.m. $135Location: US Dance Studio Instructor: Ms. Jacqui Shaddow Dates: 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/26, 3/5, and 3/12 (No class on 2/19) Description: Dance, shake, and groove your way through this high-energy dance and cheer class. Dancers will increase their coordination, rhythm, and stamina by learning different dances and cheers. You will have an opportunity to see what they have learned at various performances.

Bricks 4 KidzKindergarten - 5th grade Monday 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. $135Location: LS 206 Instructor: Bricks 4 Kidz staffDates: 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/26, 3/5, and 3/12 (No class on 2/19)Description: Your child’s learning doesn’t need to stop when the bell rings. Bricks 4 Kidz® taps into your child’s potential by encouraging their curiosity and creativity in and out of the classroom. The Bricks 4 Kidz hands-on curriculum reinforces S.T.E.M. based principles using LEGO® Bricks. Themes such as Transportation, Space, Inventions and Machines and more, provide variety and ensure a high level of interest and enthusiasm among our students. In our classes, they are able to construct machines, buildings, animals, and other models using LEGO® bricks and the Bricks 4 Kidz proprietary designs and plans.

“FitBritt”1st - 5th grade Monday 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. $135Location: LS 106 / Outside Instructor: Mrs. Megan BrittDates: 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/26, 3/5, and 3/12 (No class on 2/19)Description: FitBritt is a combination of skill practice, fitness goals, workouts and games to build strength and conditioning in young athletes. We will work on more detailed skills, introduce the use of lightweights, and include gameplay and positive reinforcement in our workouts. Your child will learn about staying fit and healthy while having fun! Children will receive a fitness tracker (Comparable to a Fitbit) to keep track of their fitness goals.

This class will guide students through language acquisition and expose them to Spanish culture through fun activities, hands-on experiences, simple cook-ing recipes and Latin dancing. Children will have fun embracing diversity and develop a love

for Spanish culture.

Slimeology Kindergarten - 5th grade Tuesday 3:15 - 4:15 p.m. $150Location: LS 101 Instructor: Ms. Stephanie Peterkin Dates: 1/23, 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27, 3/6 and 3/13Description: Students will make a different variety of slime each week. As we make the various slimes, we will compare the recipes, ingredients, and outcomes of each kind. In ad-dition, we will record each product by certain qualities such as flexibility, texture, density, color payoff, and overall appearance. Students will take home a sample of each batch and

the recipe for each slime sample that we make.

Youthful Yoga1st - 5th grade Wednesday 2:15 - 3:15 p.m. $150Location: US Cafeteria Instructor: Mrs. Sheaya ChapmanDates: 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, 2/14, 2/21. 2/28 3/7, and 3/14Description: Yoga is not just about the poses - it’s a way of life! The 8 Limbs of Yoga are guidelines on how to live the best life we can live. They teach us about ourselves, other peo-ple, the world in which we live in and how we can connect with it all. In addition, it teaches us awareness, control, balance, focus and health. Youthful Yoga will incorporate dynamic movement with story telling, games and songs. Children build strength, flexibility and self-confidence in a non-competitive environment. This is a co-ed class; all are welcome to join. Students will learn various poses, breathing techniques and relaxation practices appropri-ate for each age group as we master the 8 Limbs of Yoga - one limb a week for 8 weeks!

In today’s technological world, it’s so important for every child to have typing skills. Students will enjoy playing engaging fun games while mastering keyboarding skills! Each game supports correct finger positioning, encourages reach & keyboard memorization and focusing on proper stroke skills. Learning how to type is perfect for enabling students to gain speed and accuracy through fun sequences games. They can build fine motor finger strength and become keyboarding experts in

no time!

Pinterest Creativebugs Kindergarten - 5th grade Thursday 3:15 - 4:15 pm. $150Location: LS 101 Instructor: Ms. Stephanie PeterkinDates: 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 2/22, 3/1, 3/8, and 3/15Description: Students will make a different Pinterest inspired craft each week. This class will make learning art fun by encouraging kids to explore their creative impulses, develop

their artistic style and get down and dirty in glitter, paint and glue!!!

INTRAMURAL SPORTSFOR 3RD - 5TH GRADE STUDENTS

PURPOSE: Allow coaches and upper school student/athletes the opportunity to teach 3rd - 5th grade students the fundamentals, rules, sportsmanship, and teamwork of various sports.

VISION: Our vision is to introduce students to new sports in a safe and friendly environment that allows for quality time for practice, development of skills, knowledge, and rules of selected sports leading to the opportunity to compete in The Games as well as Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Junior High sports.
