Our design department uses sophisticated CAD software created internally to configure your project. This software has many automated features, including pricing and bottle capacity calculations to ensure accuracy. We have a variety of craftsmen and sophisticated machinery in our factory. Our diverse manufacturing process allows multiple departments to be involved on a single wine cellar. This allows us to scale the number of employees per department working on a project to work in concert with the size and time commitment for every project. Our custom manufacturing software allows us to track the progress of each department to ensure all phases will be completed based on the required ship date.

We manufacture the WineZone refrigeration systems and our refrigeration manager is on-call around the clock to assist your technician with the installation of their unit. We provide a free diagnostic review of the installation so that you can be certain the technician installed the unit to factory specifications.

Our installation department is lead by a master woodworker with over 25 years experience in the carpentry industry. The installation department has completed thousands of wine storage projects in the USA and around the globe in locations such as France, UK, Holland, Mexico, Canada, The Ukraine, The Bahamas, Bermuda, and more.

Should I add a stain to my cellar?Wine Cellar Innovations offers options for waterborne stains and gloss finish on all racking components.Our stain provides a rich pigmented appearance, that allows wood/grain texture to show through. The stain is also scuff-resistant to protect the surfaces when moving wine bottles back and forth on the rails.

Wine Cellar Innovations waterborne gloss finish does not affect the stain color and the innovative ultra clear finish provides a tough durable finish on all racking components.

It is important to remember that a proper wine cellar is a temperature and humidity controlled environment that is unlike the conditions of any other space surrounding it. When selecting and installing an entryway you will want to ensure it is exterior grade with weather stripping all around for a tight seal.

All of the entryway options that are offered from Wine Cellar Innovations take this into account, as well as providing either dual thermopane glass for the doors or ½” thick tempered glass for our full glass entryways. The full glass entryways also come equipped with clear sweeps to provide a seal around the perimeter of the door.

Your door can be manufactured to custom sizes to match your current rough opening or any size you provide. The door can be made of the same material, stain and finish of the other cellar components. If you are in a hurry, we have a variety of doors offered in our Same Day Door Store. Select the door that meets your current needs and we can ship it out the same day if ordered before noon. We can also add stain and finish options to those doors, but it adds to the lead-time.

Our wine cellar refrigeration systems maintain the ideal conditions to gracefully age and keep your wines at their peak.

Unless you are one of the few people lucky enough to store their wines in an actual cave, it is highly likely you will be looking to put in a refrigeration system in your wine cellar.

In reality, the proper term should be environmental control unit, as a wine cellar operates at temperatures that are neither standard for HVAC (70° F) nor standard for refrigeration units (32° F). A wine cellar temperature is normally kept at around 55°F, plus or minus a few degrees based on individual preferences. In addition the humidity level is preferred to be maintained in the 55 – 75% range.

SFI certified redwood is a seal that ensures healthy & responsible forestry practices. Wine Cellar Innovations Eco-Friendly Products In addition to certified redwood, Wine Cellar Innovations offers cork tabletops and flooring. Cork is harvested from the bark and does not require harvesting the entire tree. Other environmentally friendly tabletop and flooring options include reclaimed wine barrel tabletops crafted from used wine barrels. Responsible Wine Cooling Refrigerant Options In an ongoing effort to offer customers green options for wine storage, Wine Cellar Innovations’ WineZone cooling units now run on R-422B refrigerant. Approximately 2-5% more efficient than R-22 refrigerant, R-422B is ASHRAE designated and safety classified A1. It is non-ozone depleting and has a low global warming impact. Wine Cellar Innovations Green Office Initiatives We have reduced the amount of paper used in our catalog by cutting the number of pages down, and revamped our website for more optimal product viewing. In addition to being able to request a catalog from us in the mail, we now also offer an emailed version as well. Additionally, customers have the option to send and receive their design requests and floor plans electronically via our website, cutting down the amount of paper being used in faxes. Locally, Wine Cellar Innovations recycles office paper and offers scrap redwood to local businesses and farmers to reuse in projects or to convert to animal bedding.
