1 Introduction

4 WinAC MP und Multi Panel - Projektierung nach TIA Portal V11/V12 migrieren

Version 1.1, Entry ID: 65766912

1 Introduction The following FAQ deal with the migration of SIMATIC WinAC MP projects (SIMATIC WinCC flexible 2008 SP3) to SIMATIC WinCC (TIA Portal) V11 SP2 Update 3 or newer. A migration of SIMATIC WinCC flexible 2008 SP3 projects is only possible from SIMATIC WinCC (TIA Portal) V11 SP2 Update 3.

Note Compatibility The SIMATIC MP377 Daylight 15" Touch operator panel is only supported with WinCC V12!

Objective of the migration After the migration of your SIMATIC WinAC MP project, you no longer edit it with SIMATIC WinCC flexible but with SIMATIC WinCC (TIA Portal).

Requirements and supporting software versions The following requirements must be satisfied and the following software has to be installed:

• All required software versions (TIA Portal, WinCC flexible, STEP 7, etc.) are centrally installed on an engineering station.

Figure 1-1

• The following TIA Portal components are required (min. WinCC Comfort):

2 Preparing HMI Device for the Migration 2.1 Updating operating system

Prerequisite The WinCC project and the WinCC panel settings have to be saved in the system settings of the operator panel via the "Backup/Restore" menu command before updating.

Instruction In order to update the operating system on the operator panel, proceed as follows: 1. Open the TIA Portal. 2. Select the HMI operator panel that is to be updated in the project navigation. 3. In order to update the operating system of the HMI operator panel, select the “Update

operating system" command in "Online > HMI device maintenance”. SIMATIC ProSave opens. The "OS Update" tab is visible.

Figure 2-1

4. Click the “Update OS” button.

The respective files are transferred to the operator panel. The operator panel has to be in transfer mode.

Result The operator panel is automatically restarted once the operator panel is updated. The previously saved device configuration is automatically restored on the operator panel once the operating system has been updated.

Note Automatic update of the operating system

The full configuration (STEP 7 and HMI part) is downloaded via the “Extended download to device” dialog. This process carries out an automatic update of the operating system.

2.2 Transferring option

Instruction To be able to transfer the WinAC MP 2008 (WinAC MP V4.1.1) option to the operator panel after updating the operating system, proceed as follows: 1. Open the TIA Portal. 2. Select the respective HMI operator panel in the project navigation. 3. Select the “Options" command in the “Online > HMI device maintenance” menu.

SIMATIC ProSave opens. The “Options" tab is visible. Figure 2-2

4. Select the respective option in the “Available options” box. 5. Transfer the option to the “Installed options” box with the help of the arrow button.

Note Comparing the transfer The options transfer can be compared with the options transfer in WinCC flexible.

3.2 Final check of the migrated components

After successful project migration, you should check the following subcomponents for their completeness in the TIA Portal project:

• HMI components Figure 3-4

• WinAC MP components

4 Additional Checks after the Migration 4.1 Checking the IP address (HMI device) After checking all subcomponents, you can change the IP address of the respective HMI device and if required, change it. Select the respective device in the device view, in order to display the IP address in the inspection window. Figure 4-1

4.2 Checking the standard images in the project library

The transferred option WinAC MP 2008 in chapter “Transferring option” (page 10) offers you two preconfigured standard images in WinCC V11 SP2, as was already the case with WinCC flexible:

● WinAC_MP_Home

Figure 4-2

Version 1.1, Entry ID: 65766912

● WinAC_MP_Tuning

Figure 4-3

The preconfigured standard images are stored in a global library. The provided images are already switched with internal tags and respective WinAC MP system functions. The "WinAC_MP_Tags" copy template is additionally available to you in WinCC V11 SP2. Figure 4-4

This copy template (WinAC_MP_Tags) is required, since the existing tag connections are not supported because of moving the preconfigured WinAC MP standard images to the respective TIA Portal project. They have to be moved separately first to a newly created tag table. The preconfigured WinAC MP standard images (Home Screen and Tuning Screen) are provided with internal tags by being moved to the new tag table. Due to this, all already existing WinAC MP system functions are supported.

5 Downloading the Project 5.1 Downloading the entire project to the device

Introduction After checking or adjusting the IP address, the complete software and hardware configuration (here: WinAC MP configuration and HMI project) can be loaded to the device. In this example, the fastest way is described. The hardware configuration of WinAC MP 2008 and the software components used (HMI project) are transferred via a download process to the HMI device.

Prerequisite ● The following transfer settings have to be made on the HMI device:

– Channel 2: Ethernet – Enable Channel “enabled" – Remote Control “enabled"

● The project was migrated. ● The project data is consistent. ● The device to be loaded is available via online access. ● The additional settings and the IP address of the respective HMI device have been

checked. ● The TIA Portal is open. ● The project view is open.

–If you have already created an online connection, the “Load preview" dialog opens. In this dialog, you will be shown messages and actions required for loading. All project-specific data in the target device is deleted. All predefined modules (here: the WinAC MP) are centrally stopped or prepared for the download process. If you enable the “Overwrite all" option box, all already existing configuration data is overwritten in the target system (HMI device)! Figure 5-4

4. Click the “Load" or “Finish” button.

Result The selected project data is loaded to the device. A repeated input of the individual parameters or values is no longer necessary. The transfer path to the HMI device is permanently stored for other transfer processes in the system. The WinAC MP device is restarted. Afterwards the device is in RUN mode. Figure 5-5
