INTRODUCING CONNECT SERVICESConnect Services is a Brisbane-based Electrical Contractor group, providing electrical services for a variety of project sizes

for local and national clients. Our primary business is providing electrical services for medium to large scale projects by

utilising our specialised Construction and Projects Team; and our Client Services Team are the experts in small to medium

size projects, state and national roll-outs.

Richard SeccombeRichard is the owner and managing director of Connect Services and has been successful in business for

over the past 16 years. Richard is dedicated to time-effective and cost-efficient outcomes which surpass

client expectations, and is focused on building trust-based, long-term relationships with those clients.

This has seen Connect Services develop from a one-man Electrical Contractor into a commercially

successful business, which has been responsible for the installation of some of the world’s most

advanced equipment. While still maintaining the relationships built with clients from Connect Services’

early days of operation, Richard is constantly driving his company to improve and grow. Richard’s

insistence that Connect Services consistently strives for best practices has seen the company qualify for

ISO 9001, AS/NZS 4801 and ISO 14001.

Garth ElliottGarth has been involved in all facets of the electrical contracting business for over 16 years. Initially

engaged in the specialised services sector involving High Voltage installation and maintenance, Garth

has a unique understanding of both the contracting and services sectors. Having been responsible

for projects on APLNG worth 26 million dollars, this knowledge is demonstrated across all sectors.

Having a safety first culture and the capacity to work to achieve solutions with his clients has led to

his development as an effective manager with a Tier 1 contracting background. This awareness of the

critical need to ensure client outcomes are met with the highest safety and quality systems makes Garth

a valuable addition to the Connect Services leadership team.

Nigel MalcolmNigel has gained experience hands on from the early days of the initial build with Optus

Communications and has honed his skills to deliver cost effective projects on time with the benefit

of 25 years of experience across all facets of Communications Projects. His focus and success stems

from clear communication with clients to understand their requirements and adjust to meet standard

requirements and future proof networks with little fuss or variation to scope. Nigel has experience in

telecommunications, turnkey installations, commercial installations and industrial Installations.

Todd HileyTodd has been involved in the electrical industry for over 12 years and has steadily progressed

through the ranks into Tier 1 contracting. He has a broad knowledge of the industry having worked

on commercial, education, and health projects from thousands through to tens of millions of dollars.

Recently, Todd has successfully completed the electrical rough-in portion of the works on the Sunshine

Coast University Hospital. He has a strong focus on clients and growing relationships within the

industry to help businesses succeed and continue to grow. He has a strong knowledge of good project

management practice and procedures, while always keeping safety front of mind.

Garry StarrIn the 40 years of working in the electrical industry, Garry has gained a wide knowledge in a variety of

fields. His electrical career began in general wiring and then progressed into the data communications

and security alarm industries. He specialises in data communications design of fibre optic and UTP

networks, also tendering and final project management of those works. In the last five years of his career

he has focused on project management, project scheduling and estimating medium to large construction

projects.
