    Talking Stories 1 for KS1 from 2Simple (P)

    Five online talking stories onKS1 QCA topics (mainlyHistory and Geography). Thetext is spoken out in a rangeof languages and all storiesinclude activities for a rangeof subjects.The stories use Shockwavev10; if they dont load it willbe because your machinehas an older version.

    Talking Stories 2: Multimodal teaching resources for key stage 2

    This resource is in the KS2 Literacymenu. It supports the renewedframework for KS2 Literacy.The stories are Coleridges TheAncient Mariner; Sherlock Holmesin the Red-Headed League, theforest scene from MidsummersNight Dream, Food, and a co-production with the Met around therole of PCSOs.Each is an incredibly rich resource,supporting extensive work at KS2Literacy, possibly up to 4 weeks insome cases, with additional off-computer resources for activities.

You will beasked to enter you LGfL username and password before you can get access to theEspresso content.

    The Second World War

    Using exclusive resources on Londonand its people from the Imperial WarMuseum, this covers Evacuation, theBlitz, Shelters and Daily Life.

    Victorian Schools

    Rigolo 1 and 2 for Primary French

    This resource is now available online atwww.rigolo.lgfl.netRigolo is planned carefully so that non-specialist

    and specialist language teachers can easilyfollow a structured progression. It is a teacher-led resource that combines engagingcharacters, animated stories and activities andhelps children to move into Speaking andListening too. Classroom teachers will find thatthe activities reflect their experiences with theNational Literacy Strategy.Rigolo 1 includes several teaching and planning tools for the classroom:

    Islington - Assessing Primary ICT (O)

    CEA@Islington has produced a completeportfolio of pdf documents, exemplifyingthrough children's work the levels ofattainment in Primary ICT.

    All four levels for all of the QCA units arecovered in a clear and accessible style, withteacher comments added to the pupils work.Find a link in both the KS1 and 2 ICT contentmenus.Schools will find this an invaluable aid in thedevelopment of their own portfolios of pupilswork.

    Harrow Visual Literacy (O)This excellent project highlights the work
