Customer Successes – Case Study 1
Forever New Retail is Australia's fastest growing fashion retailer with over 130 retail stores across Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and India.
Pre-WFX ProcessFN had a Retail Management System (RMS) and a Warehouse Management Solution (WMS) to manage core ERP functions (inventory, warehousing and finance) & Palo for Business Intelligence.
Processes prior to generation of Purchase Order were managed using excel and email.Designers and developers would create products in excel and email with costs to FN's China offices.Responses, costing, approvals created string of emails with different versions.Process of placing purchase orders to vendors would be a manual consolidation of buying across territories.
Key pain points High product turnaround lead times and many sample iterationsDifficulty in scaling up business due to manual processesComplex email trail of Email/Telephonic collaboration between OZ and China offices
SolutionTo implement the WFX Web PLM solution across all office Locations to streamline the process of Product Development, Buying and Collaboration and integration with BI tool for product reporting.
Implementation scope 220 Users across Australia (head office), China, Vietnam, India. Complete WFX solution suite was implemented
Business Benefits- Standardized process of Product Development across all product categories - Quicker information turnaround from product creation to receipt at sourcing offices in China.- Reduction in lead time for the buying process to Purchase Order Placement from 14 days to 5 days. - Instant approval notifications have reduced sample turnaround times by 15%.

Customer Successes – Case Study 2
Gokaldas Exports (GE) is India's largest manufacturer of apparel and manufactures products ranging from, Mens,Ladies, Children and Outerwear. GE produces 40,000,000 units a year and employs over 50,000 people across 44factories. GE is owned in majority by the Private Equity firm Blackstone Group.
Pre-WFX ProcessProduct definitions, BOM components, ratings & costing captured on disconnected excel sheets. Material quantities processed manually by sourcing teams who created excel based POs emailed to Suppliers.Disparate disconnected IT systems were in place to handle Finance functions, Salary processing and inventory. Entire Product Management process was entirely excel based.
Key pain pointsMass amounts of data through disconnected excel sheets caused errors in costing and sourcing department. Large quantities and volume of orders, made changes complex and sometimes lead to inaccurate ordering & costing.A 50 person sourcing department was in place just to manage supplier order processing for GE's 300 suppliers.Lack of product life-cycle visibility.
Solution WFX solution was implemented across company's offices, factories and global supplier base. Web based application allowed for quick deployment due to intuitive interface and easy accessibility across geographies. Most of the vendor base were trained online.
Implementation ScopeWFX solution has been implemented across 600 Internal users and 300 Suppliers , across 47 factories.
Business Benefits- Streamlining of internal processes and linking 300 plus suppliers worldwide through WFX.- Increased efficiency in the order processing cycle and reduced sourcing lead times (from 7 days to 48 hours).- Improved efficiency for Merchandisers as MIS and product tracking information is available instantly.- 25 people (of 50 person import team) shifted to other departments due to the automation of global Supplier base.- Accurate Sourcing has improved inventory discrepancies in the warehouse

Customer Successes – Case Study 3
Triburg is the largest buying agency in the Indian sub-continent sourcing and technical services for the complete range of apparel products and accessories.. At present it has a staffing strength of 350 people, and sources approximately US$ 200 million worth of merchandise, comprising 35-40 million garments annually from a vendor base of over 150 factories. Clientele includes names like Liz Claiborne, DKNY, Armani Exchange, Ann Taylor, Mother's Work, Guess, Nautica and others.
Pre-WFX ProcessFrom 1996-2000, the company employed a system design in-house and custom developed for the company. This was a management information control system working on the company's internal network..
Key pain pointsLarge quantities and volume of orders, made changes complex . The system had one big flaw - it was a single-location system i.e. at a given time, users at only one location could log in to view the information. This was especially problematic for Triburg since it already had an extensive network of offices in multiple locations.
Solution WFX solution was implemented over the company's intranet which included factories in locations across the globe, to form a 'Private Trading Network' for Triburg with its vendor base. -Catalogue (at Triburg's end): Buyer Orders are entered into the system by the merchandiser, who also creates a product catalogue with specifications -Sales Order (at Triburg's end): On the receipt of Purchase Order, merchandiser enters the complete details about the order.
Implementation ScopeWFX solution has been implemented across 400 Internal & outside factories users .
Business Benefits- Triburg vendors have benefited as the WFX system allows them to directly receive purchase orders - The system also eliminates the need for preparing and e-mailing Excel spreadsheets for tracking order status and change, thereby reducing the cost of communication- Each employee's tasks are clearly defined, thus making him or her accountable for their own work.- Additionally, the Scan & Pack functionality that is part of the system allows bar codes to be printed cheaply in-house at the factory, and for goods to be tracked accurately, resulting in cost saving for suppliers.

Customer Successes – Case Study 4
Vila Clothes (part of the 1Billion Dollar Bestseller Group) is among the leading apparel brands in Europe and is also the fastest growing fashion company. Headquartered in Aarhus, Denmark, Vila sources ladies fashion wear from suppliers throughout Europe and Asia.
Pre-WFX Process
From 1994-2000, the company employed a system design in-house and custom developed for the company. Though Vila already used aninternal system for inventory control and purchase order entry, the need for a web based system for PDM, office and vendor collaboration which integrated to their internal system was identified.
Key pain pointsVila's existing IT systems and requirement for integration among business processes and value chain collaboration.Mass amounts of data through disconnected excel sheets caused errors in costing and sourcing department.
Solution WFX solution was implemented across company's offices, Web based application allowed for quick deployment due to intuitive interface and easy accessibility across geographies.
Implementation ScopeWFX solution has been implemented across 200 Internal users .
Business Benefits- Vila vendors have benefited as the WFX system allows them to directly receive product specs, approvals and purchase orders on-line, reducing response and lead times.- Vila's merchant's now create Purchase Orders in the WFX solution and send them on-line to suppliers through WFX Smart E-mail or WFX-Partner applications. The WFX solution is also interfaced to Vila's existing internal system.- Vila now has a repository of all Collections for the past 4 years with all details on previous style specs, prices, suppliers who manufactured them, ability to track past style executions.- Lead times on product development and approvals have also reduced. Also, Suppliers interacting with Vila find the solution hasimproved their communication and is now prone to less errors.
