• Formal requirements: Certified documents, Application Deadline

Identify professors/lecturers in your area of research
Through publications
Identify a course related to your area of research and the lecturer’s profil
Network: conferences, colleagues, German Alumni
Make genuine contact with a German professor/lecturer
No bulk mails “Dear Sir/Madam” - State the matching areas, be very specific
Stay formal “I am a God fearing…”
Be specific, no phrases like “I know you are a renowned professor”.
Avoid grammatical or typing mistakes
No approach for funding in your first mail
