In Maths this week our focus is number, addition and subtraction you will be learning about: Adding and subtracting multiples of 10 Balancing calculations Two digit add 1 digit numbers Strategies to solve calculations efficiently Problem solving

In English this week we would like you to: Practise your weekly spellings Read chapter 3 of Flat Stanley and answer

questions about what you have read. Read and follow instructions on how to

make a kite. Read chapter 4 and plan and write a new

middle to the story. Practise using an exclamation mark

correctly.

PE: Did you try Get Kids Moving before half term? They’ve added even more workout now so give them a try– Get Kids Moving

Science: Plants– label the parts of a plants and trees worksheet and go on a plant hunt.

Art: Observational drawing– go in your front or back garden and find a plant to draw– it could be anything from a daisy to a tree! Look very closely at your plant and draw it carefully. Then choose how you will colour it– paint, crayons, felt-tips?
