WEDDING TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Booking your wedding

1.1. Due to the time required and limited availability, wedding consultations with our co-ordinator will only take place by prior arrangement.

1.2. As we are limited to the amount of weddings we can fulfil on any one day, a non-refundable deposit of £200 is required in order for you to secure the day.

1.3. If, for any reason you decide to cancel your wedding at any point leading up to your wedding day, the deposit will not be returned to you.

1.4. The balance is due 21 days prior to your wedding date. If you fail to pay your balance by the required date, we reserve the right to cancel your order and in the event that another major event wishes to book for that day, they will take priority if a deposit has been received from them.

1.5. If you decide to postpone your wedding, we will hold your deposit and any other monies paid by you, until your new wedding date. The £200 deposit is subtracted from your final balance. If you have paid the balance in full and decide to cancel outside of the 21 day period before your wedding, we will issue a refund minus the deposit. If you cancel within the 21 day period, we reserve the right not to issue a full refund. Your flowers will be ordered 14 days prior to your wedding date and as such, cancellations that fall within the 14 period prior to your wedding date will not receive a refund. If you cancel in the period 21-14 days prior to your wedding we will refund 50% of the balance, less the deposit.

1.6. As your flowers will be ordered 14 days prior to the date of your wedding, any changes that you may wish to make during this time period will be subject to additional charges.

1.7. Fresh flowers are a living product and are dependent on weather conditions, stringent quality checks, and influences beyond our control. On exceptionally rare occasions we may have to substitute a specific flower. If this happens we reserve the right to source a similar flower, and we will ensure we do everything within our power to replace the substituted flowers with others as close to your original requirement as is possible

1.8. Occasional the suggested colour of a flower/flowers will not be available at market and a substitute colour will be used instead as near as the colour 1st agreed or a different flowers but using the same colour

2. Delivery of your wedding flowers

2.1. A set delivery charge of £25 is payable and for this we will deliver to up to 2 separate destina-tions on your wedding day within our usual delivery area. Outside of this area all deliveries will be subject to additional charges based on mileage at 40p per mile

2.2. A signature is required upon receipt of delivery. Please ensure your order is correct before signing. Any mistakes or queries must be raised within 30 minutes of receiving your flowers.

3. Mock Bouquets

3.1. Subject to para. 1.7 Above, we are happy to provide you with a mock-up of your bouquet if you wish, upon receipt of your deposit and booking confirmation. As wedding flowers are always pre-ordered, and not run-of-the-mill shop stock, this will be charged at the same price as the bouquet you will carry on your wedding day, and must be paid in full, 7 days prior to your viewing.

4. Copyright

4.1. Any mock bouquets made for you, along with any designs and photographs of our work we allow you to view and/or take away with you are subject to copyright laws (The Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988) and therefore you are not permitted to show them to, or allow them to be copied or used by any other florist or floral designer without the express consent of Wild Poppies.

5. Vase Hire

5.1. In the event that a loaned vase/container is broken a charge of the retail price will be payable.

5.2. It is your responsibility to ensure that all vases are returned to the shop within 5 days after your wedding. Failure to do so is a breach of contract and will render you accountable to charges for the non-returned vase/container at a charge of the retail price per vase/container.

5.3. We will not be held responsible for any injuries or damages sustained as a result of broken glass, materials or dyes that may be used to colour the water for you. Liability is limited to the supply of goods only. No responsibility will be accepted for any consequential loss.

Bay trees - a £100.00 refundable deposit (paid by cheque) may be required per tree for loss or damage.

I cannot guarantee the price of flowers for wedding taking place more than 12 months from the date of quotation
