Bay of Fires Winery is home to our premium range of cool climate wines.

The picturesque cellar door is available for wedding ceremonies and cocktail-style receptions, as well as special events,

photo shoots and launches.

A paved patio area is available at the cellar door as well as a grass area should you wish to hire

a marquee for your special occasion.

Bay of Fires Winery is available for weddings:

Monday - Sunday

10.00am - 11.30pm

(all guests must vacate the property no later than 11.30pm)

Venue HireCeremony Only:

External grounds usage: $500 - available for hire 10am - 4pm, Monday - Sunday

Ceremony & Cocktail Reception:

Venue Hire: $1000 - availability will depend on winery commitments

You are welcome to arrange your own catering or see our package pricing.

A Bay of Fires Winery staff member must be present at all times for all events on site.

Inclement Weather - Unfortunately no undercover area is available if the weather is inclement. Therefore it is the

responsibility of the client to arrange a marquee if required. This is included in our packages.

Public Holidays - Bay of Fires Winery is closed on Christmas Day, New Years Day and Good Friday. Events on public

holidays may incur a surcharge.

Venue CapacityMaximum number attending any event at Bay of Fires Winery is 120 people.

The following is included in the quoted price for a Bay of Fires Cellar Door wedding package:

• Venue hire of the cellar door exclusively from 3pm (Oct-Feb) or entire day (Mar-Sep). Other arrangements may be possible, please ask for information if desired

• Ceremony and reception location on cellar door grounds (please note due to sensitive nature of vineyards and winery, some access to this area is unavailable)

• Photos within the grounds, excluding the winery. Access to two blocks of vines for photos is permitted - prior permsision from cellar door staff required

• Professional ‘Hoecker’ style marquee matched to your function size and erected on grass area adjacent to cellar door

• Cocktail-style fingerfood or canapés served to your group for a period of 2 hours of your choosing. (Option to extend timing or different menu arrangements available by quote)

• Beverage package for 3 hours, including A by Arras, Bay of Fires sparkling and table wines, Tasmanian beer and soft drink. Included in this beverage package is the option to have sparkling only served from the outdoor garden bar for the first hour on arrival. Premium upgrade to House of Arras Grand Vintage available at an extra $18pp

• We have a strict liquor licence which we enforce to Responsible Service of Alcohol standards. This also means that we cannot allow any BYO onto our property at any time. We also require those booking an event with Bay of Fires Cellar Door to consider transport options post event

• Chair hire for your group numbers

• Tables and tablecloths for half of the expected number of guests set up in the structure, with the other half of the space set up for cocktail-style mingling. Please see your event planner for decoration ideas

• Structure lit with fairy-lights and decorative lamps. Your choice of clear ceiling (for view of stars) or covered (helpful during hot summer days). Option for satin lining also available upon request

EquipmentVenue hire inclusions:

• Photos within the grounds, excluding the winery. Access to two blocks of vines for photos is permitted - prior permission from Cellar Door staff is required

• Access to power (extension cords and all electrical equipment to be provided by client)

• A staff member to assist on the day

Additional equipment:

Any additional equipment will be arranged by the client (prior approval from cellar door staff is required).

Event TimesBeverage service for all events is limited due to licensing restrictions, please consult your cellar door contact

for specific details. A maximum of 30 minutes is permitted between the conclusion of the ceremony and

commencement of the beverage service. When drinks are arranged to follow directly after the ceremony, a

maximum 1 hour drinks service is permitted without food.

We recommend the following times for combined ceremonies & cocktail-style receptions:

11am Ceremony 12pm - 4pm Cocktail Reception

Maximum venue hire duration 6 hours. All guests must vacate the premises by 11.30pm.

4pm Ceremony 5pm - 9pm Cocktail Reception

2pm Ceremony 3pm - 7pm Cocktail Reception

Bay of Fires reserves the right of exclusivity to provide all wine beverages for all events on site.

Spirits are not permitted on site at any time.

Whilst we endevour to provide all wines listed in this package, occasionally there are availablity issues.

In this instance you will be notified of a premium alternative which will be provided.

Total payment for all beverages on consumption is required at the end of the event.

CateringA licensed caterer must be used for all on-site catering.

Our staff can provide details of preferred catering companies however this is a recommendation only based on

businesses familiar with our kitchen and facilities on site.

Should you wish to source another catering company which has not worked on site, they will need to provide

details of their insurance certificate, complete a contract for works and be fully inducted prior to working on site.

All events where drinks are served for one or more hours must be accompanied by catering.
