Week October 10th- October 14th We are looking forward to our Halloween Party coming up. We are in need of a volunteer to plan some games for the party. This week we learned…Word Work/Writing:This week in writing we learned how to revise and edit our personal narrative. After that we got to publish our personal narratives and read them to a friend in the room.Reading: This week in reading we continued to look for story elements in our books. We also learned about plot. We read some books and figured out what the begginning, middle, and end of these stories were. Math:This week in math we started doing math rotations. Each day we now do 4 rotations. Math facts (practicing math facts on IXL), At your seat (journal pages from our math journal), Teacher’s choice (working with a teacher), and Hands on (playing a math game we’ve learned). In these stations we have been working on using our addition strategies. Social Studies/Science: This week in science we made a list of everything we already know about sound and some questions we want to find the answer to. Then we took a listening walk and
