Become a bird watcher. What birds can you see out of your window? Are they the same or different? Draw the birds you can see.

Collect natural materials from outdoors such as twigs, leaves, pinecones etc. Can you make a pattern using the natural

materials you have found?

Draw a picture of your favourite part of the story. You could use paint, crayon, chalk collage or pencils. Label your picture or write a sentence to describe what is happening.

Research nocturnal animals using the Internet. You could then write some simple fact cards using the information you have learnt.
